Tree of Savior on Mac

To Whom It May Concern,

Hello, I am new to wine and I am trying to get Tree of Savior to work through steam. I tried using PlayOnMac and began noticing the problem. I read that wineskin can avoid this issue from occurring, so I tried downloading that and running ToS through that but I noticed I was having the same issue(I probably did something wrong, if thats the case anyone have any tips?). I get the game downloaded on steam then, when I log in everything works fine. However, after about 15 minutes of playing, I get disconnected and can’t play anymore. This happens for both PlayOnMac and WineSkins. My FPS in game would be fine but I would just get kicked out. I was reading online and they discussed it might be a memory leak issue and that once it hits the memory cap it boots me. If that is the case, is there any work around to get the game to not do that? I love the game and would love to be able to play for more then 15 minutes without having to reboot it. All help and advice is appreciated !

Disclaimer: I used to be able to play without having this issue using playonmac like 2 years ago. Just came back recently on a new account to try it and I’m encountering this issue.

@franzcamacho07 @Seiran (Sorry for the random pings but you guys were the ones whose guide I followed back then, so I figured if you still play you might be knowledgeable about it now).

Thanks to all who read this.

If you want play with no problems on mac, you have to install “Bootcamp” (Best emulator for windows).

I was playing with a MacBook pro 2012 for 2 years and it was ok. Now i have the 2017 macbook pro and it’s great.
