Tree of Savior needs your help

Guys, our game suffer from attack of haters and it has currently only 59,6% positive reviews.

I ask you to leave a posivite vote there, on site, or inside your Steam App.

I know, this game far from perfect and some things annoy me like hell. First was regional pricing removal, then ugly optimization, interface and not much of high end-content.

At some point i have even decided to leave, several weeks ago. But i returned back on next day with one conclusion: i love this game.

A lot of those people, who leave a negative review, are still playing this game. This is ridicolous. Why turn off new players with that attitude? We should give IMC a chance and see what could happen.

One good example was the Marvel Heroes Online [Isometric MMORPG, just like ToS].

It had insanely bad review on release, just like 50-60% too. Lots of hate. But then developers took a right rout, revisited everything, added lots of content, optimization and etc. Now it has 80% positive reviews.

I hope devs will take a lesson and move this game forward in right direction.

Well IMC made the very bad business decision to release product as finished instead of paid beta. The MMO community us legendary for online forum/ rating reprisal.

It may happen on ToS, it may not happen, be as it may, this game is not for everyone, as MH is in the same boat.

Do review is fine and all, it shows some concerns or simple ignorance.
But a good review is the one that come with good suggestions, not a simple copy and past from past suggestions, specially the ones that were shot down by the community, it only increase the “stress” and in the end, whoever brought it up end up calling this a toxic community, not that there is no toxic people lurking around, but all the same.

I still refrain to do a Review on Steam because i know this game is far from completion.

While the game does have its issue, I do love it. For some reason the issues people are bringing up: Market issues, tokens, mod spawn. None of them bother me enough to stop playing.

I really do love this game and will continue to play it until that changes, which i dont see happening soon.

now THIS is some true white-knighting.

“hey guys, just ignore all the flaws and give the game a positive review. i’m sure it’ll get better someday.”

these repeated threads are really old and pointless.

pre-launch: 64%
2 days after launch: 60%
now, more than a month later, with still lots of bugs and glitches: 59%.

it isn’t going to go up until more people start playing, AND have a positive experience doing so.

Its not suffering from haters. It earned that 59%. Game needs a lot of work and fixes, when it gets them it will go up. No sooner.

As you, i do love the game, and i try to play with friends as much as possible to make it pleasurable, i am not all the time grinding or questing or hunting, sometimes i just go watch some scenery, sit on a corner and whisper/chat with friends, or just leave the char online while doing other stuff.

It is a fun game, i mean, any online game can be fun if you have someone to share the moments.

But it’s true, and even they leave negative review for a bad optimization game, you don’t have enough reason to tell them to change.
People just ask too much and blind from the beautiful side of the game.
Seriously, I never have to grind till 260, my fps is great on business laptop even on world boss. And I found more great things everyday while doing quest, like the water trampoline in Bella rain forest, umm . . .goddess statue . . .umm . . . chest.
p/s: Marvel Heroes suck.

Which wont happen for a long time.

IMC should have labeled this paid beta. People would still have bought it. The sorry state of MMO scaling is that the need for liquid assets often drives development to release poor product. Currently I would fairly give ToS a 60 if rated right now. I will wait because if IMC is smart they could easily make this a 90 game.

No, god this is so wrong. The ONLY thing IMC did wrong was listen to it’s consumer base. Instead of doing what they had planned to do in the first place in hopes for a much smoother game with less bugs and time to figure out how servers were going to handle, they caved.

They had a great plan. This plan was thwarted by the “I WANT IT NOW!” crowd. The Steam Reviews were beautiful. Extremely positive. Then it all changed. The out cry from the community, “BE WE WANT IT NOW!” came, and with that… The pressure. IMC quickly caved and opened the gates to every Jim and Joan on the planet for less then a Porn Rental from the 1990’s. Everything they hoped to achieved, destroyed.

Anyone who has ever worked with the consumer base. Knows the consumer base is chalk full or idiots. You do whats best for your product, not what the consumer think is best. That is how you sink quickly, when a boat says Occupants allowed on Board 350, but you cave and allow 500 so the boat sinks.

On topic, I left a relatively good review already after the outcry of negative ones complaining about everything IMC didn’t want to happen but screamed when IMC came up with their original plan.

Secondly; who cares about Steam Reviews. 90% of the games that have positive reviews are terrible freaggin games.

Just wait for F2P, where everyone can play the game for 10 mins and toss a Negative Review.

This game is poorly optimized, poorly managed.
They’ve made really bad choices.

As did I.
I like questing and hate grinding, and this game is all about grinding (FML).
I like PVP and don’t care about PVE, and this game is 99% oriented towards PVE (FMLx2).

BUT, that might be fun to play along with friends, and in the long run, they might make the right call and earn those positive reviews.

Maybe with the support of those who are already playing, we can turn it around, dunno.
They don’t have to do as every feedback says so, but, some are really necessary, like: fixing the market, adjusting spawn rate, balancing classes.

A rating review shouldn’t depend on whether you can ‘rally’ enough people to make a positive review for the game.

Whether the game gets a good or bad rating ultimately depends on the merits of game. If the game gets better, there will be more positive reviews. It’s as simple as that.

No this is not wrong, it is a mature adult perspective of a poorly executed business model.

WHITE KNIGHT, YOUR BS SHALL NOT PASS!!!

IMC is the producer and saw $$ and got baited like many fledgling MMOs.

I actually despise the F2P model because of this. Those who want to trully pay will buy the game $50 then play a monthly sub. Those who will pick up the game and toss will not bother.

F2P is just opening a flood gate and if not ready your game will drown, point in fact ToS.

Bad reviews aren’t bad for a game, it make developpers realize that there are problems with their game, and work harder to fix their mistakes, so they can make people post better reviews. Don’t make them too confident.

I love this game but there is a lot of broken things to fix actualy, and the better way to make them repair it fast is to post bad reviews on steam.

I do agree on that, but you have to agree also that, some of negative reviews, and some of the positive ones are just people who didn’t even paid attention to what they did or saw and it is just following someone else just for the heck of it, i mean, on the first week, i saw many reviews with 0-3 words.

I disregard all those tbh.

This game had 62%, and then removal of regional pricing teared it down to 59%.

I know, this act was really stupid from IMC to silently remove old prices, it affected me, i even did several threads about it.

But the truth is, there is no place for regional pricing in game, where people can sell goodies from cash shop for in-game currency.
