Let me Preface this with me saying, Thank you Addon Devs for making my gaming experience that much easier, its a thankless job you do, you are truly my unsung heroes. but with the EULA update i have questions. (the EULA was VERY broad)
So today I skimmed through the EULA, pretty standard stuff. But I realised that IMC, do not want any addons that can Alter play.
Here is a link to the post in which they kinda answer, and kinda don’t.
We have no plans on restricting add-ons that conveniently display information which can be obtained from external communities or between users.
However, we are sternly against add-ons that allow abnormal gameplay such as being able to use NPC stores on a field or an auto-play program. Those are prohibited and its user is liable to be banned.
basically im going to leave a link to the addon manager and maybe post a list and basic description of all available addon’s through the manager, it would be extremely helpful to the Whole ToS Community if we could get some staff to comment on this list. and straight up find out what WILL get us a ban, and what we should avoid because it skirts the Agreement too closely.
Lots of Copy Pasta ahead (slight formatting)
Wall of Text ahead, formatted for easy skimming.
list of addons in the manager as of 11/30/2016 I will leave a
In front of the addons i feel skirt the edge too much and need clarification from staff
