I think I donât understand this âcommon senseâ thing you talk about⌠but to me he didnât lie because his statement isnât false yet.
You may have your doubts in the statementâs they publish and their ability to make a proper schedules or to react to unexpected events, I think that those kinds of things are the hard parts of projects and I canât actually criticize them since they have done an awesome work in many aspects up until now, so the only thing iâll do is wait patiently for my turn.

It might have no player limit, but you still need to have a verified Nexon.kr account, that makes it âopen to koreaâ, but âclosed to everyone elseâ.
Well yeah, hence âKorean Open Betaâ - the application thing is seemingly the only limit. But it seems like theyâre not really filtering???
Debating picking up a Nexon AccountâŚbut like everyone said, I feel like the ICBT is somewhat near. At the very least, it will probably be the next step in terms of significant development (aside from a focus group after KBT3).

Hm⌠Not cool ToS Team. Really not cool at all.
I donât like the way they give us only a few pieces of ToS information about Beta etc etc, I mean, I donât even see any announcement on this website, Itâs the same move as NCSoft with Blade & Soul (Didnât get beta key for this one, so f*cking lucky yeahhhh⌠Since they created the western website I gave them my mail for announcement⌠But thatâs not the matter here).
A friend of mine did the 2nd beta even if heâs not Korean, but he still have the Nexon Account, so here is my question : Can I play the 3rd CBT if he give me his account ?
To answer your question: yes.
But also, this information has, technically, nothing to do with us (The International Community). This is a Korean beta test, not an international one. Additionally, our releases are probably going to be from IMC, not Nexon (like this one is). Everyone needs to realize there is a fairly significant gap between the Korean and International Releases. Thereâs a reason why we canât play on their servers / participate in their tests. Same thing with the Indonesian stuff (of which no one was really butthurt about).

So the problem isnât coming from IMC himself, but from publishers like Nexon right ? Is there any chance that they make a Beta on Nexon Europe ? I guess noâŚ
Of course, I understand why theyâre doing this (but I still canât make clearly who is the âtheyâ xD), I canât give them feedbacks or anything, but if I could I would love to take the time to do it ! So yes, me applying for Beta is useless for them.
ButI canât wait to play it (Like everyone else c:) ! Most games need 1 or 2 Beta then release, but with ToS (if I count it right) we will have 4 Beta (3 Korean, 1 International), wich is pretty upsetting x)
I just want to play the ârealâ ToS before a crappy publisher destroy it in westerns countries.
Haha⌠I think a lot of people really looking forward to this game have difficulty thinking rationally about these things. My first thoughts myself were that, âWe are ToS western mistresses and theyâre never really going to leave their kr wives for us!!!â 
I Just have to look forward to the new info we get from cbt3, try my very best not to be wildly jealous/petty at the westerners whoâve managed to get kr accounts, & hope icbt comes very soon after. (even though it likely wonât)

Lol at the people getting upset over this. You should be glad they are continually doing tests to improve the game. Just because they arenât catering to your needs doesnât mean the game is never coming out here. Have some patience and donât be so short-temepered that you call IMC liars when they say âwe think.â This is arbitrary along with saying its âafter cbt2â is very up to interpretation. Itâs almost as if people havenât seen PR talk from mmo companies before. Be patient.
Besides that Iâm really happy cbt3 is coming out. That means we are one step closer to release!

No way will the Non-Korean versions come out before the Korean release, but they wonât be far behind. Technically, all they have to do is some localization catch-up, and once thatâs done, all thatâs needed is a smaller bit of localization for any further updates. It was mentioned at the Indonesian announcement event that Indo-ToS would possibly have simultaneous patches to the Korean release.
And @AkaiKiseki I agree with you - I want to play more than anything. And the problem isnât really with Nexon, either. Itâs the amount of bugs and testing still left in the game. I mean, technically the first beta was called a beta, but it was more or less an alpha, was it not? KBT3 is being used to see if those 20,000 bug reports actually did any good. Since IMC is a Korean company, it doesnât matter if theyâre having a standalone international release (hereâs hoping they stick with the steam route and just do a semi-self publish) - theyâre focusing on the Korean release because thatâs where theyâre most efficient in their work. For now, itâs up to us, the international fans, to make the translations and progress the game into different languages of release.
[On a side note: omg theyâre making a Mobile FFXI. Iâve seen that image before, but I never noticed that part]
