Do NOT input items that can heavily increase your char/class level on demand.
better to do more fun items and cosmetic stuffs.
Other than that, alot of the questions need an option to pick multiple things.
especially for the “what does ToS need in its current state”, needs multiple things.
also would be better to have a question on frustrations in the game and also something about server/game optimization.
i would wager that alot of players are wanting a game engine update or definately much much more optimization.
Dunno if IMC is avoiding the subject, but I noticed some options missing. So here’s two answers I wanted to give.
What do you think TOS needs the most in its current state?
[X] Better game’s performance, especially less stuttering issues. We need this asap.
What aspects do you think need the most improvement in the game’s PvP?
[X] Better game’s performance and netcode. We need this asap.
I think this needs to be said and repeated as many times as possible. Optimization please, I want to play a game that doesn’t assume my computer couldn’t do any better. I want to be able to invite my friends who own stupidly high end computers with monster specs and not have to tell them that the game will still stutter and perform poorly because it cannot utilize their hardware.
What kind of cosmetic items do you want to see more of in the future?
Please go back to creating wigs, and wig dye colors.
It was a much better and more freely customizable system.
Or please add the old wigs to the Beauty Shop with the Beauty Shop’s TP price, and the hairstyles from the Beauty Shop to the wig selections for the wig TP price. And continue to do so from now on.
That way if people want to buy the expensive but permanent wigs they can, and if they want to buy the cheaper but not permanent hairstyles, they can do that too.
Maybe even more, the hairstyle versions could have their own unique Beauty Shop dyes, while the wigs keep their own unique dyes as well.
I know it’s a big idea, but seriously give it some thought. I really don’t like the Beauty Shop system at all.
It’s because they know it’s a major issue. They don’t really need to poll, it’d just “waste” the question, especially since we have the performance update coming we haven’t experienced yet.
Instead of having 99% of players picking the performance option, they can find out what the players want the designers to start prioritising next.
Maybe they could make it an option and give that question two votes, but it seems unnecessary.
It’s either that or they’re avoiding it, so I’d still mention it just to be sure lol. As for the priority of designers in particular, the optimization is still important for them to take note of because it is a limitation to what they can do when they design events and new content. It’s an indirect way of telling designers that they can only make good events and content if the game can handle it so they shouldn’t prematurely push large scale ones.
I strongly disagree with this. Wigs can be used by all your characters since you can unequip and put them in the Team Storage. Meanwhile, hairstyles replace the default hairstyle for your character and they’re lost if you decide to purchase another hairstyle from the Beauty Shop. All these reasons justify wigs being more expensive than hairstyle, although I think wigs could be a bit cheaper, because the only time I bought wigs was during the discount sale we had last year.
@Queue polls made in Google Docs can have questions with multiple possible options. Should’ve done that instead then. The results will be made public, so they probably don’t want to show that 99% of the players agree that the game’s performance is really poor.
Maybe just a little end note saying it would work then haha.
Since they make announcements/dev blogs/Popo Post interviews, it’s clear they aren’t really avoiding it. But it’s not like it’s a problem to reassure players, or to inform those who haven’t seen their previous comments that they’re well aware.
Like I said above, they aren’t really secretive about the poor performance, but maybe that’s also a contributing reason. Changing the question to 2 or 3 choices might work if players are concerned about them dodging it.
I listed the second option just as an, “If anything else” option. So people could have the freedom of picking between either wig or hairstyles if they did choose to do this, but then wigs would also become an option again for people like me who want them instead.
I’m going to assume that they never will make plans for releasing new wigs or colors, otherwise.
Hopefully I’m wrong. I don’t mind the wig price at all personally, but due to the limiting nature of hairstyles, I have zero intentions of ever buying them.
How can they mention CC but not mention things like “attacks with iframes” which make combat just stupid?
While cutting away skills that prevent damage, they didn’t remove skills with iframes/iframe attributes for who knows why.
Why does one character have to take a beating when using an AoE skill, e.g. a Matador using Paso Doble, while a Bullet Marker gets several seconds of iframe on a two OH skill named Bloody Overdrive?
This mentality is beyond me. In Ragnarok Online, the Gunslinger also has a similar skill for revolver, called “Desperado”. Know what? He ain’t having any iframe on that skill, meaning he actually has to take a beating when killing the enemies around him.
These iframes are way too strong in PVP and need to be deactivated, or they need to make the attributes change the skill from a damage skill into a damage evasion skill.
You can’t have both in a healthy PVP environment, unless all Classes have access to such skills so they can counter with their iframe to avoid the damage.
They also need to do sth about Heal, it’s so stupid that while you have no mitigation skill, your recovery via Heal is gutted in PVP.
Why aren’t the values of Free Step/Bear/Magic Shield/Swift Step also cut down by half?
Their PVP rules are inconsistent in the things they buff/nerf, which makes the games PVP a freaking joke. Some builds are OP, some are just shyt.
OPTIMISATION FOR FING SURE!!! Single biggest turn off for me when frame rate takes a dive or I get client freez for a few seconds… This has been a problem since day one! We have been asking for this fix for 3 years now with no results! Yet we got fishing… FING FISHING?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Why? It can be lolz sure, but I will take smoothly performing game over it any day! IMC you better fix it cause there I’m at my limit with this and you will lose me as a customer forever!!!
SO while doing this survey they asked the question:
What do you think TOS needs the most in its current state? *
I immediately went for the “Character Balance” answer, but then I looked down two answers lower and saw “More content that makes use of companions (companion battles, evolution, fusion, etc.).”. At that moment I knew I had a crisis on my hands.
Obviously, being the man who loves ToS’s and wants its future to be full of potential I went with the answer you all know we should pick.
“More content that makes use of companions (companion battles, evolution, fusion, etc.).”
As a suggestion for the next one…
- Please add links to the events and patch notes (i don’t recall what were the balance changes in april and march)
- Allow multiple choices on the justification part (even if only 3)
@STAFF
You’ve done great job. Please listen to this.
- Party matchmaking in PvP is needed. Maybe not for every mode of course, possibly as a separate queue!
- A flat like ~30% overall damage decrease is needed to be tested in PvP. Or at least in certain PvP modes.
- Diminished returns for itemization in PvP is needed. What it means is that every item that is being enhanced above for example +11 or transed above for example 60%, should have their bonuses for this and the following levels gradually decreased in PvP modes. So that players that worked hard for their items still get full bonus in PvE, but get somehow decreased bonus in PvP, and only for those high levels of item bonuses.
- Gemstone Feud needs a fix for NPC HP. Overall concept is OK, if you fix it, it can be fun for a long time going forward.
- General improvement on every PvP mode is needed. Plainly speaking, PvP in this game has enormous potential, but in it’s current state it’s trash.
Thank you!
PS. FPS issues due to netcode will still kill any highlevel content, but you already know that.

Cool. Keep it up.
