Seeing as you’re only level 27, not playing the game, and either spamming the all chat when party is really buggy, means you play this game only for the “the chat system”. You haven’t even gone to the deepest areas. There is a lack of questions, game felt incomplete, there wasn’t enough cutscenes just like the starting point of the game. See for yourself. YOU’RE NOT GRINDING DON’T FOOL YOURSELF.
Play in parties, attack blue mobs, use potions. They may very well be an issue with the EXP rates and perhaps the curve is at too steep an incline, but the game has hundreds of levels. Leveling is pretty much the entire game. It seems very intentional that you are not constantly provided with large exp giving quests. You are supposed to grind, at least to some extent.
Assumptions, assumptions. That’s all you can ever do. Again, this is the only day I have been able to play the game fully.

You didn’t read my previous post. Did I say I will be grinding hardcore? Doesn’t necessarily mean I’m not allowed to like the concept of grinding, right? Really, read my previous post. I gave you two points already. Don’t expect everyone who’s in favor of the current EXP rates and grinding to be hardcore grinders. Either they are:
a. not yet in the mood to grind because CBT
b. like the concept of grinding but leveling isn’t obviously the first priority -
I’ve ventured to other maps on my current level and focused on earning coins for item enhancements, etc. so I could explore the game. I know I haven’t gone far through the story, but that’s because I couldn’t play straight during the weekdays; but I know I am doing my part for this CBT – everyone who’s playing is. Again, I have work. If you don’t have one, then you obviously have no idea.

This is an online game. Chatting is one of the features, so please don’t tell me how to play an online game.
4…
In fact, why am I even arguing with you? You argue like a kid. You insult me over stupid things like chatting on an online game, and that you keep on insisting that I consider myself a hardcore grinder when I’m obviously not. Plus, you don’t read posts and just argue anyway – what does that make you?
Please stop being immature. But then again, this is the Internet. So whatever, go ahead with your immaturity but I can no longer take you seriously.
How am I assuming? It’s already obvious you haven’t fully played the game to the highest, so you haven’t experienced what it’s like to be having a low exp rate.
Chatting in an online game, when it was hell of a buggy? You weren’t even in a party, so you probably didn’t know the bug. Players couldn’t see the party chat, so we have to stick with the all chat, which you know, is spammed by the likes of you. I’ve seen the same common names popping every time in all chat, and wished there was a button to ignore you or the shout. Ironic is it? You stupidly said ''don’t play the game if you don’t like it" there are other features that I love about the game, and one of the things that I hate is the low exp rate. I didn’t read your posts after knowing about the state of your level.
Cap level is 500 how can you even reach that max cap within a year, even two years isn’t enough, and that’s insane. Roughly 15k players will stick to this game if that’s the case. There is no good rewards for high level players, the same stuff that we get. The quests are repetitive, kill monster waves, using an item, killing a boss etc. There aren’t even a good amount of cut-scenes. Again, you didn’t read my previous posts either :P, I said reaching max cap too fast isn’t a good idea, and I wanted it to be like KCBT EXP RATIO, It was even on caps. You’re the close-minded one, you wanted a broken game without any improvements. Chatting is one of its features but don’t spam it like your own online social hangouts, it’s more worth taking if the shout is about looking for party, items, and bugs topic. I really wish they would make the megaphone highly expensive and undroppable from the likes of you.
<AAAAnd here you go, the issue about you is you haven’t even reached that level, and yet you agree with the the exp rate.
Annnnd there you go, the issue about you is you haven’t fully reached where the level is a grind fest, and yet you fully agree with our current exp rate. Btw, I only argued immaturely because of your idiotic response from my previous post ,and it was a low blow when I saw you in game. Kind of disappointing seeing you there, when you focused mainly in all chat, and not the ''feature of the game based as mentioned from your response".
I think you didn’t fully understood what I said from our previous chat, What I meant was this game should be casual friendly, and to those people have jobs, and busy irl. Btw, people wanted to grind near max cap because this is CBT, and most areas are buggy in higher levels. SO AS MENTIONED BY MANY PEOPLE
EITHER MAKE THE EXP RATE AS KCBT OR BOOST THE EXP RATE SO OTHERS COULD CHECK ON THE BUGS. The terrain was terrible at cobalt, idk about the other areas. Hate to break it to you, there are no achievements in higher levels.
Oh please, stop with the mindless insults, you’re losing your cool by insulting me, as I mentioned the PARTY CHAT, IS REALLY BUGGY, so it’s a piss that you people are abusing the shout system. How is party chat even a stupid thing to talk about, and immature? We need to use the shout system for convenient things not your own social hangout. You’re making the shout system felt problematic and pointless. I really made you snap, huh? Just because of the chatting system, you went berserk, and calling me names.
Even if I didn’t respond to you, my previous chats were already there, giving out my feedback about the game, and I knew that the more i responded to people the more my posts gets off-topic, and really lacking.
Keyword… casually. 17 levels a day, playing 4 hours each day is amazingly good lol. Thats 170 levels in 40 hours, thats almost max level in 120 hours. Calm your tits lmao. Do u people even play ■■■■■■■ RPGs? I had around 100 hours on my FFVII playthrough.
I play Dark souls and a lot of jrpgs given my whole lyfee to them. X3
Lol, cant argue with you, you’re too damn funny. XD
Jeebus, I didn’t snap at you lol. I called you immature because you were being one (and you admitted it anyway). You kept on insisting that I needed to be a hardcore grinder just for me to give out my opinion on the low EXP rate, when I had my personal reasons from experience.
-
"So you don’t mind reaching level 50, but you haven’t hit 50 yet
within two two days? That’s just proven my point that you’re not into
grinding." - Wareok who never played the game up to lvl 50 shouldn’t be saying this, lol. Bro, Do you even grind???
The validity of my opinion stems from the fact that I’ve played other MMORPGs and watched them fall just because of the short amount of time it took to reach the level cap. I don’t want that to happen to TOS, and I’m sure you understand that, no? I see a lot of people here who do.
I did have no idea about the party bug, and you didn’t even explain it properly on your previous post (like how am I supposed to connect the shouting and party chat issue if I had no idea about it); and it’s not like I shout all day, mind you, so please stop making assumptions about me. But anyway, if you want my apologies for that then I’m sorry for making your party experience worse.
The bullet points you just did was the thing I mentioned about being misunderstood, but ok then.
Oh please, enlighten me crybaby. QQ grind QQ grind Ok.
I admit I was being silly, but I still hold to my opinion. But this isn’t like other Mmos that max cap is mostly a 100, it’s 500. And that’ll be a ■■■■ ton of effort in a game.
I’m sorry about the insults too. I knew I was being too immature, and looking down upon you because of the level. There was a party bug since the start, either whisper shows up or empty. The party chat was only available in all chat, so we were forced to use normal, and have to stick with each other to see the bubble.
Why do you even bother going to this forum, lol?
I QQ from your responses. It’s rather sillier than mine.
No, I actually try to learn what other people want. I’ve asked a lot of times “In how much time do you think a person playing 2-3 hours a day should hit max level?”. No one ever responds.
This has gone from a simple topic to a very heated debate, with name calling too.
Well, you have your hands in it too. It’s not like you are just an outsider coolly observe the situation.
I don’t know about others here but personally myself see the ones against this early grinding use less insulting and name calling as well as mocking than the ones who defend it (some even didn’t get to try the game). Just count and read the threads about this problem, most of the threads against this early grinding try to explain their thoughts and not bashing anyone (at least in the OPs). Most of the threads defend the grinding are actually only created for the sake of mocking and talking shits about the people who they don’t agree with. And people are heated up because of the later ones, they were told to “just don’t play the game” and called names only to giving developers feedback about their negative experience.
Oh pardon me~
As you can recall, that statement is actually for the hardcore RO fans who wanted this game to be exactly like they wanted to in which they do is waah, waah, and waah. I do allergic to crybabies. It’s not even for a debate. But here we can see debates filled with name calling just because they can’t take others opinion. But heck, what position do I have to say that since I didn’t even partake in this ‘intellectual conversation’.
The second paragraph is for everyone who read the post, not aiming at you. The first paragraph I only mean that whether small or big you have your hands in this heated situation, mocking and name calling too. I am not going to say anything more than that.
kCBT’s EXP rate is indeed much better though. I reached 25 in quite a shorter amount of time over there. I also gained coins much easier than here in iCBT. I can’t say much about higher levels yet though, as I’ve only tried kCBT a day before iCBT lol.
My theory is that they want us to stay longer in a particular area in iCBT so we can do further testing (hence the lower EXP rate). I think kCBT is in a whole different level of testing compared to us…
…and it’s getting extended!
Yea they did say that, this beta was to test the steam platform and the gmae
Highly suggested to be in a party, because most monsters are aggro, and archer mobs are hella annoying. I made a cleric character, because in my opinion it’s a highly suggested class.
Especially as a Krivis Zaiben’s skill, but I went a different path as a Priest. Trying out as a Sadhu but not sure if I’m Int or Spr wise, I will probably focus on SPR. T.T I really hope they will extend iCBT cause it isn’t ready for its realease.
Sorry again from my previous posts, I didn’t hold back myself. My comments were rather harsh and misunderstood, I didn’t explain fully
