Tree of Crash and Graphical Glitches

Date and Time : Since OBT started.

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Keyboard

Bug Description : After some time playing the game or changing maps, it seems to increase the chance of having 2d textures in the game be swapped by from purple to light pink pixelated cubes, that may even end up affecting the load screen, buffs and other things.

When the graphic issues on textures happens in a high frequence in the game, It gives a high chance of crashing the game, when moving to another map.

This issue happens on low end pcs like mine and my brother’s pc, but I does not remember meeting the same issue on CBT 2.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Play for some time until some textures disappear.
  2. Try moving to other maps.

Screenshots / Video :

This is a boss fight scene, but the scene overlay suffered the issue of the graphical glitch, so the entire boss fight were like this.
Happened twice to me.

No system specs we can’t help you without that.

Trying to find the full system specs here, but too many places to check.

First problem, too low on RAM, the game asks for at least 4GB.

Is it 64 bits?

Press WinKey + Pause Break key it will show the System window, it should look like this (pay no mind to my artistic ability with mouse lol):

My suggestion is to upgrade your RAM with a 4GB minimal or if you can get a 8GB, or if you are on a tight budget right now, you can buy another 4GB to add in there so you have 6GB.

Forgot to ask, is your GPU 1GB of VRAM?

Hum, so it’s the ram the issue?

And my pc is Thirty-two bits.

And I dunno how much GB of VRAM my GPU have, does not tells here.

The CPU support 64 bits OS as far as i did a search, If you are under 32 bits OS even if you put 4GB it won’t use it all (only up to 3GB in 32 bit OSes), so you have to upgrade your OS and your RAM, it is hard to use a PC with these specs to play any game prior 2015 (with some exceptions like pixel games and the like).

Unfortunately, ToS is not optimized and your PC won’t be able to run it well.

If you are using just the off-board card (Radeon) on he desktop (where the wallpaper is) click on an empty area and go on Start Menu > Run and type msinfo32 and press enter a window like the follow will appear:

Tell me here what is the number (you can type the way it is in the window there we can convert to the right number after and again, pay no mind to my artistic skills with a mouse).

1 GB Ram says here.

I know, but is bearable to play.

this has little to nothing to do with the game(sure its not optimized) but its mostly your pc i suggest upgrading it and just because it worked once doesnt mean itll continue to work till god knows when especially with those specs.

That is why i told him to upgrade the RAM and OS (to 64 bits).

The processor i think it is fine tho.

if he wants to play the game in 10fps sure why not, but seriously i bet something as simple as opening the browser will take a toll on his pc.

30~40, take that!
