How bout the old style random generated code captcha thing that appears when someone is a suspected bot and disconnects you if you answered it incorrectly? does it work? I think doing that would piss them off.
Hella alot of bots in every god damn map of importance (where good loot drops) i see economy crashing âŚ
EURO has nowhere near 6k players, you are delusional.
I play on both of the servers until 2 months ago ( iro and euro ) and euro is a desert.
Most of the players are markets, and the rest of that are bots (auto scrips, afk pet farmers, buffers, healers, teleporters). Even the most populator people moved to IRO from that server for the sake of having actually people playing there. I had 8 accounts logged in at a time to trade stuff with / buff etc, which wasnât uncommon at all there.
Euro has in reality not more then 100-200 players max. That why i reacted in my earlier reaction with those numbers. You are completely utterly delusional if you think that euro has 6k players in it.
IRO has on the other hand 3k players, yet 1/3 are shops ( 700 registered shops atm, but there are loads more shops found outsize of selling zones ).
And then the bots. Just look at one of the recent oda streams, dude banned already 120 people in a hour from strawberry map. thatâs just one map. There are loads more maps being grinded like no tommorow by bots. Hell the guild i was in people had healer bots behind them etc, because nothing got done against it. Then you also got all those alchemist bots everywhere.
I would say that about double the people play on iro then on euro, maybe tripple. but the reality of things is that it can be anywhere between 200-800 people that really play it. Because gmâs like the fact that bots load there user base number count up. I wouldnât be shocked if some of them are actually them just lowering prices from markets. Because LTpain on iro has about 28b worth of zeny on his character on items that he sells in really weird ways, almost like he doesnât want to sell it at all. Which makes no sense ( if you play there you know what i mean ), so yea. i wouldntâbe shocked if that number is also inflated.
Market prices also raised massively and still are on IRO ( not sure about euro ) sinds ToS launched, which means that the real player base is declining.
Now lets go to ToS.
How many shops are there on a single server? anywhere near comparable to RO? not even remotely. How many bots run around on a single map? 100âs? nope. All while having a fastly bigger playerbase. And also being locked down from creating new accounts for already a month + massive bans going on.
This is also why i said in my earlier reaction, EURO player base is of a complete and different magnitude then this one. Not even comparable.
Bots will just log off then, no way for a gm to validate if itâs a bot or not then.
Prices still the same here. Nothing is crashing.
Open a Jail map (with active pvp mode if possible so u can kill THAT bot as many times as you want⌠xD)
Wrong code? JailâŚOK Log outâŚLog in⌠still in Jail waiting for manual release by a GM⌠while being killed by angry visitorsâŚ
naaah probably it would end up being worse for the communityâŚand still requires active staff in-gameâŚcant see it happening anytime soonâŚ
Anyway, as someone pointed out⌠something good (if not the only thing) about bots, is the fact that some ârareâ items, become more easy to obtain (although they control the prices ofc)
