Tree of botters, documentary.. u gonna love it

Didn’t you just talk ■■■■ right back at him…? I guess talking ■■■■ only helps the game if you’re talking ■■■■ about people who are frustrated with the current state of the game.

I dont talk ■■■■ all the time. Just occasionally

This guy just gives off a vibe of one of those people who try to defame the game for amusement and reactions from people. I could be wrong, but maybe not.

Its not just from this post that gave me the idea, but from his other one too.

I can agree with you there. If he stopped at this post instead of making that other post it would have come off as a lot more credible… and perhaps removed the “I QUIT” rage comment here too.

He likes the current state of the Game coz he has a bot on his account, only a botter love this state coz they will go un-punish for the 3rd party program they are using that state in IMC agreements…

well forums are made for people to speak out on there frustration of the game so feel free to give negative and positive feedback…
but this game is starting to bored me, i cant even farm items on its current state, bots are taken all the Farming and Grinding spot… whats there to grind if like 5-10 bots are farming 24/7 hrs per day…

White knights are just tired of duplicating posts

We know, IMC know, every 3 days we have a melodramatic post about botting.

i don’t really mind bot, there always will be bot in any game, its a given.

what strikes me down is that many of the closed beta exploit are still here (i didn’t play the beta btw) and if you knew them back then, you could get ■■■■ load of money, items or get more level on skills and get away with it since imc is not even permabannig this bug abuser.
yes, they fixed and revert back the skill thing, still who did it had it for like a month~.

today it came to my knowledge that you could make milions a day by exploiting a quest/gimmick reward, and no sanction will be given to those who abused it.

it’s just…so annoying.

Oh, yeah and by the way if anyone think like the OP that IMC isn’t doing their job please do you a favor, buy some glasses.

https://forum.treeofsavior.com/c/news/banlist

While they are manually banning bots, bots are automated to return pretty quickly after the bans happen. There’s rampant exploitation going on as well as ZERO preventative measures to automatically detect bots. It means that bots are uncontrolled.

I’m not denying that IMC is trying don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they’re banning bots. But you consider that they are manually banning bots while bot users are automatically returning. Who wins in this situation? It’s whack a mole.

There’s ways to help secure a game so that botting isn’t so “easy” to get away with. Not going to stop botting completely but that, combined with manual banning leads to a much more controlled environment.

Also, the exploitation that the add-on devs have recently started showing everyone means that botters have an even EASIER time botting. The goal is to secure the game, add ways to detect bots and manually ban bots making it harder for a pandemic of bots to take over the servers.

We want to shoot for CONTROLLED botting rather than UNCONTROLLED.

yet, there are 456456456 botters, 3456456 gold seller, 354456456 exploit abuser (and those last guys didn’t get banned).

Try Having Fun in this scenario, and Good luck with it.
Just Having a Feel the state of the Game on its Fields and Grinding spots and tell me if its ok to grind now…

why cant gms come? would be better if a gm
will come if we press report bot and they can send the bot to a prison map…are they understaffed? give rewards to players who first reported and disable the feature for at least a day to those who give false reports…was doable in previous games i played…

Then people would ultimately just report people they don’t like and dampen their experience. Worst part is that it’d be acceptable and people would rage about their low levels getting reported and kicked down there.

Their plan failed, but this is objectively worse. You should never give the player that type of power, because there are people who’ll make it so we can’t have nice things.

Also having a job kicking bots is also pretty crappy idea. While the GMs could definitely kick the bots off, that implies they’d get in every map in every channel to do so…that’s really wasteful of time plus manpower that actually could be better put into progressing the game or figuring out a method of. They're barely even in game as a plus.

I’d like it if they thought of some sort of natural game mechanic to discourage botting, but it’d also hinder the Addon crowds as well. I sometimes wish they allowed us to buy Red Monster Orbs so we can set it down, but that may also hinder other players who foolishly attack something they shouldn’t.

You are correct. This is why it’s stupid for GMs to go around manually banning bots:

Also I absolutely agree that giving players any kind of “power” is a terribly bad idea. I mean have people not seen the kind of people who are on these forums? You want to give power to them? No thanks lol.

calling a gm just to verify if a player is botting or not…gm can send a message…if the player does not rply then he will be jailed…not so much of a power to me…gm accounts are supposed to work this way…was implemented on a game i once played an botting was never as bad as this…

Hello @Blubbolo! Thank you so much for providing such details and for bringing the matter to our attention. It would be better if you can provide screenshots as evidence for the bot player you encountered so it can help us in further investigating the issue.
