I mean, with all the controversy dealing with trading and gold selling I’ve kept quiet and pretty neutral about the whole thing. My main is a support and today decided I’d make a solo archer for farming silver. Then thought, wait… How the hell am I suppose to transfer silver to help gear my main? I have a token and it would be no problem if you could transfer gear without losing potential. But what happens if the item’s potential reaches 0? Can it not be stored in the team storage? What about making squires, pardoners and alchemist? Are they literally screwed? How does this make any sense and limit gold farmers?
I’ve been cool and optimistic about this game even behind the queues, cammanderfail, buggy quest delays, spawn rate, dungeon bug and other issues I’m used to in MMO launches. But this right here isn’t a bug and makes absolutely no sense and doesn’t even classify the game as much of a real MMO. I’m enjoying the game very much and would appreciate if someone can tell me how are you suppose to go about making silver on an alt and transfer gear or silver to another character without totally gimping the item’s potential. I’ll ask again… Can gear be transferred at 0 potential, and would it make much more sense to max the gear out till 0 potential, then proceed to transfer? Thanks
Edit- I assume selling an item on the AH and buying it on your other chara would be the only way. But I hear you’d have to wait 48hrs. Is this really all we have?
