I agree, this game needs nothing to do with bind on equip, but but bind on account needs to be a thing!
aye is very very bad we cant use the items we own for urselves
this is something the fans made up.
Ragnarok is owned by a different company.
this game has a similar graphical/play style, and one of the lead developers that worked on RO. that is the extent of its connection.
r u sure it fans made up? wasn’t it announced that the dev is the one behind RO?
i said that in my post: one of the dev’s for ToS also used to be part of the team that worked on RO.
it’s like with books and movies…
“a new novel from the author of [a popular book]”
“a new film by the creators of [a popular movie]”
it’s a way to market it to audiences that may have enjoyed that previous book/movie/game/whatever. “if you liked X, then check out Y which they also contributed to.”
I wish we had Tradeable, Untradeable, AccountBound and OnEquipBound.
I would love to by costume for silver from other players for example.
BindOnEquip isn’t relevant to ToS. it would function the same as “tradeable”, since there is no “binding” mechanic as such.
but yea, it would be really nice if premium items were at least tradeable via team storage.
True it is, but maybe it would be more “natural” to use? idk
I just want to pass my hair costumes to my other character. Is what I’m asking too much?
For me it’s all about that Stat Reset Potion! Not playing with my character anymore and I’d like to trade to my new toon! Terrible idea not making us able to trade between our toons!
Erhm… You didn’t realy looked it up, right? This is actually the true Ragnarok online 2.
You know…it’s like Diablo 2 -> Diablo 3 but the true Diablo squel is mostly Torchlight 2 and etc. Many games are like this out there.
Just look after it.
It’s like saying that you think that the next Metal Gear will be the true sequel to the series, yet Kojima wouldn’t be there.
The next Metal Gear can be named as Paper Screw if Kojima is behind it.
ehm, what’s to look up? you’re spouting off a bunch of made-up head-canon.
there have been -two- “true” ragnarok 2’s, and this is neither of them. the first (RO2: The Gate of the World) was a complete flop. the other (RO2: Legend of the Second) was/is a mediocre entry in the light-challenge MMORPG category.
Torchlight is certainly in the same genre as D2… but the style is entirely different. (like comparing WoW and ToS.) having played all of the games involved (Diablo 1,2,3 and Torchlight 1,2) i would never consider Torchlight to be a sequel to Diablo.
it would be like suggesting that Doom, Hexen, Quake, and Castle Wolfenstein are all sequels to each other, because not only are they made by the same company, but they’re all FPS games too – it’s simply ridiculous. the games aren’t related to each other in any way other than having some of the same people work on them.
you might prefer one thing over another, but that doesn’t give you license to rewrite history to fit your random fantasies.
…yÜhm…you don’t really get it right? Torchlight 2 was made by the original creators of Diablo 2. That’s a fact… That’s why I said that you are claiming it that this is not the “original successor of Ro”. That means nothing that it’s developed by “other companies”. It’s all about the developers, not about the company.
Well…if you would never consider Torchlight 2 as a true sequel to Dio 2 , I have bad news…that’s the original Diablo, the Diablo 3 is something else.
Torchlight 2 has more original Diablo developer than Blizzard by now. You are welcome!
so what? that doesn’t make it a sequel, either in fact, or in essence.
Doom Hexen, Quake, Castle Wolfenstein… they all share a lot of the same developers.
so you’re saying you consider -them- to be sequels?
if you do, it’s time to start taking your medicines again.
I learned the hard way that you can’t transfer TP costumes to other characters. It saddens me that the costume was bought in vain since I’m no longer prioritizing my first char.
Expensive but untradeable. Suxx…
i know soulbound and accountbound doesnt exist, so currently ive only seen tradable and untradable. to make things simpler, i wish they’d add “team tradable” for these premium items, especially the cosmetics.
that or make cosmetics similar to changing hair colors! give us toggles!
i’d honestly buy more cosmetics if all our characters could use it (class restriction is fine). for now… just 1 hairstyle since thats all you can do. sucks if you wanna reroll a character, those items are stuck!
My example, I made an alt around a week ago. It’s an archer. Found Christina’s Costume super cute and the Spring dresses. Also, wanted to give it that short hairstyle that I don’t recall the name. The problem? They are character bound. If I mess my class up or end up not liking it, I will lose all those premium items that I paid good money for. We are not talking peanuts money here. Clothing and hair styles are around ~$18 each! So, I took a wise decision. Decided to postpone those purchases to when I will be sure I’ll be sticking with that alt. This, though, could take months or could not happen ever. if I decide that I don’t like the playstyle or the build is bad or even a nerf hammer, no money for you, IMC. Now, it’s really irrelevant because I already purchased the Founder’s Pack (three of them). But this will for sure be what will make me not to purchase things in the foreeseable future when F2P hits.
And let’s not forget about the many of us that used the Founder’s Pack on a character that is now obsolete for several reasons. People went and placed faith on the game to support IMC, they answered with character bound things that screw you over if you purchased anything. And now, a complete and absolute silence by them regarding those issues.
For me, it’s not a single drop different from Nexon’s behavior.
Hahahahahahaaaa.
This is a great suggestion near 100% of people probably agree with, but please lay off the armchair estimates of how much work something is when you have no idea what their codebase looks like.

[/quote]But but… even some of the management here thought what my team do is a lot push-button work
This needs to be done.
