I can understand the Marketplace being behind a paywall. No really, bare with me a moment. With the Marketplace behind a paywall, free to players are stuck with what? 1 item up at a time? It’s already going to be somewhat of a flood with F2Pers putting up that one item, but nowhere near as bad as if they had full access.
HOWEVER! To mitigate this somewhat, the trade system should NOT be behind a paywall (especially not having limits even BEHIND the paywall).
Trade should be there to make up for the lack of marketplace. That’s not to say that we want general filled with people spamming “BUY MY X!”, but still.
Now, I know this isn’t RO. I know, I know. It’s a completely different game, even if it bears a few similarities. I bring up RO because I actually kinda miss the open market. Setting up a little trade window as we did and waiting for people to click and buy our stuff. Sure you had to be a specific class to do it, but it was worth having one.
From my understanding, we already have those clicky bars that open shop windows in the game (Pardoner’s spell shop, for example). Why can’t we just have that for basic traders? :\
Anyway, that’s besides the point. The point is that while market being mostly behind a paywall can work out, trade cannot. It’s digusting that trade is behind a paywall, and even limited as much as it is.
Look IMC. I could understand if F2Pers got to trade only X times per day, but only 30 times per token? That’s outright disgusting and shameful.
Edit: Did this need to be yet another thread? If you want more exposure for the problem, then yeah. Yeah it does.
