Is there a way to shorten this? I have a friend that wants to trade me and item and it says I have to wait till the 17th before that function available. I can understand a few days, but sheesh!

Does it actually work? Couldn’t the bots just level to 40, and then just wait a week, and do this with a billion accounts, so they never run out? Just saying, becuase it may inconvenient players more then it helps the community.
according to imc logic, yes.
on top of that, imc claim bot n gold seller isnt a major/dire issue.

It’s not only for bots. It’s also for nefarious account activity. Most steam games (with large cash shops/RMT mechanics etc) have these restrictions.
Well they have existed in all MMORPGs. They are annoying. And they can mess the economy for sure. The worst bots are the one that takes good grind spots, those are were the focus should be. Not gold sellers.
@artooc3po i’d like to see this large cash shop. There barely anything in there, or am I missing something?
Goldsellers cant be a major issue cause we deal in silver here!

@artooc3po brings up a good point about “nefarious activity” and that is part of the reason.
The week also gives a time frame for both IMC and Steam to ban the account.
