I’ve been playing mmo’s for a comical amount of time. Steam wasn’t around to record my shame at the time, but trust me… I know it well.
In my experience, I find more and more games trying to make a quick buck out of a mechanic that has been overlooked as an every day occurrence but often gets chopped to pieces.
I will cut it short because I could go on and on about it.
Why do you have a trade cap and auction house limit when you can easily put trade durability on EVERYTHING in the game, and then sell items in the premium market that repair its handling cost. THIS WAY you can bolster the economy, and still have control of those micro transactions.
By putting up all of these barriers, you take away the community immersion that could easily have been created just like Ragnarok. And I am aware that this game is not Ragnarok, but most of us came from that, and if we are going to spend our shameful hours playing, then we should do it without these barriers and restrictions that aren’t really making a profit for you at all.
TLDR.
Trade restrictions removed/ buffed.
Trade repair implemented for premium purchase.
More items can be traded directly.
I’ve seen this done before, and would love to see what others think.
