Trade/Marketplace system in ToS is AMAZING! *Sarcasm*

I’ve played Tree of Savior for a while now and so far I’m enjoying a lot the game, but when it comes to Trade/Marketplace it’s a pain in the sweet booty.
I mean I can understand 1 item limit and an higher fee for the players that don’t use token, but for the KEPA’S SAKE I need to wait 2 days to redeem the silvers I’ve got for an item sold.
In those 2 days a person couldn’t even need anymore those silvers or even get stuck because he can’t get silvers for an item he really needs.
So I’ve seen many discussions about it and it seems that IMC doesn’t really care about it, as far as I see it (as many other players) not havin a good trade/time dependant trade can actually slowly kill the economy of the game.
Even heard of people that don’t want to use anymore the marketplace for those reasons.

I’ll end with this:
(Dialogue made by kyoncjb between a player that sold something and the market guy on another post always talkin about this “problem”, I really share this)

"It downright doesnt make sense.

Market guy: Hey! I sold your Item to someone!

me: NOICE!!! Where is my money?

Market guy: Yeah… about that… you can only have it in 2 days…

me: Why the heck is that? you have the money right???

Market guy: Well in an attempt to stop gold sellers I have to keep your money for 48 hours before giving it you

me: why?

Market guy: Crickets

O_O

See how stupid that interaction is? The Market guy would lose its buisness and no one would want to deal with him. Thats how I feel right now"

I agree with this 100%

Are you implying that all these stupid restrictions is hurting players more than the bots which to say the least, are only inconvenienced?

Its annoying but it keeps people from manipulating the prices by buying and selling all day. I like to look at the market as another way to play with my loot. And as future silver going to unknown investments. If I’m in town and I have 0 silver, and I want to buy something, I’ll go out into the field and make some!

Its definitely not perfect though… It kind of sucks when you buy something, like a material, and its not trade-able with your own team.

We can’t have everything though

Kind of like in the real world… When I go to work, they dont hand me 100$ when I walk out of the building. Ill see that money in a few weeks after uncle same dips his hands into it lol

not like real world AT ALL, if you go to the store to buy food they wont give you ANY if you dont PAY first

I see where youre coming from and I won’t say I disagree. But I would view it more as buying something from amazon.com compared to driving to a market. im not leaving the computer at all. With the click of a button i get my good delivered in a few days time.

I have to admit IMO it’s indeed not so beginner-friendly (this is Tree of Restrictions after all), but just be patient with the inconvenience and focus on leveling.

Install Addon Manager https://github.com/Excrulon/Tree-of-Savior-Addon-Manager and install the BetterQuest addon. Follow the quest line from top to bottom per map (make sure you check “Show eligible quests”). Complete monster kill counts as well if you can as they’re a good source of additional exp cards and more farmed silver helps.

To supplement that, here’s a comprehensive leveling guide as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/treeofsavior/comments/45xa7j/leveling_guide_for_ktos/

Depending on your class/build, you should have enough silver to buy a token at around lv.75-130 at most. Don’t go into buying equipments first as you’ll get plenty of them from monster drops and quest rewards.

You’ll only want to start investing in equipments at around lv.170.

Not trying to whiteknight the game here (I f*cking hate most of these restrictions myself), but it’s the best advice I can give.

Well irl you wouldnt instantly get your money either. Try selling something on ebay. Unless you have a huge history of sales it takes like a week.

Maybe they should do something where if you sell enough things the time can be reduced somehow? Or bring it down to 24 hours at least.

Or possibly reduce the time depending on how much the sale it? if its not a large amount make it take less time.

Nope, not sayin this C: .
But would be nice to have the time reduced a bit to redeem silvers.

Thank you very much for advices

But when you sell something (like a car) you get your money right away…

Market system is atrocious here… and also, why the f* anyone has a problem with somone playing the market? You can do that in the real world too if you know how… Say what you want to say, but if market was easier on players people retantion would have been a lot higher.

And the untradable mats… bullcrap… worst idea ever. You should be able to resell it, you should be able to give it to your other character… for cricket’s sake, just allow this already…

And if anyone tells me that this will come later, i have heard that back in april and it still have not been done…

Outside of that the game is great! Keep it up IMC! good job!

Well, seeing it from this point of view ( buying/selling something on ebay or buying something on amazon) seems more reasonable, but still meh…
Also it would be fine for me if they’d reduce it to 24h.

Also agree with this, would be a good thing to add imo.

To be honest people sometimes gets really upset with flippin the market/playin with market because richest people can actually manipulate economy as much as they want (saw this tons of times on many games and eventually did it really rare times).
I think people mostly fear this, the possibility of an item getting to double or even triple of price it was, for example, 2 weeks ago.
For the rest I agree with you, they should make some changes to both trade and marketplace.

I see that, but never understood how what we have is better, lol.

On orsha now, battle bracelets are like 10mil…used to be 3

Yeah… When I get home I’ll post on the market forum and ask for the price to be maxed at 5m tops. Sissels used to cost 7m-ish. Now I can’t imagine how much they’d go for

Here’s a question.

Do you want a market economy or a planned economy?

Atm, the ToS economy is more planned than it is market.
