Trade Limit needs to be revised ASAP

I understand IMC’s stand against bots/gold sellers/abusers. However, every time you make a restriction, you are giving inconvenience to a lot of legit players.

As an alchemist of a certain guild. I will be required to initiate a lot of trades for advance preparation just incase someone waged war on us. This will cost me 10-15 trades a day.

I could simply do trades on a weekly basis just so I could adjust with the restriction, however, the limit still refrains us from using it to other tasks i.e. using my personal storage, trading recipes for personal gains and etc. I trade A LOT.

Im not asking you to remove the limit, Im asking you to give more for your players. Here are some suggestion.

  • Make trade limit a daily basis in which it will refresh every server restart
  • Increase trade limit cap depending on your character’s base level or rank
  • Increase trade limit cap depending on your team’s level
  • Use both ideas on daily refresh + trade limit cap increase depending on character level.
  • Give special trade limits to Alchemists (a selfish Idea)

I vote for this. Not all bots will reach this level.

Refreshing the trade limit per day is actually better than 30 trades per token. They should give at least 10 trades per day.

It would be better to remove token trading restrictions since most botters have the money to buy tokens. :v

And not all real players are able to afford tokens (talking about myself).

There is a shared guild storage. Use it.

At the moment, it can only be use by the Guild Master.

have you tried it? because we did, and it seems bugged atm, we cant put anything atm and it seems only the templar could do something with it

not personally.

Still wouldnt it be more reasonable to ask for changes for guild storage instead of token benefits?

I agree, however, the fact still remains that I trade a lot, even without the pots.

That’s why I am suggesting other options.

Guild storage isn’t used to share normal items, sadly.

I agree with most of them, but what I really want them to implement is the trade limit depending on your base/job level.

Daily refreshing trade limit sounds good. Make it for token users and make the 30/month for free2play plebs.

/Post must be at least 20 characters

I’m all in for trade limit scaling on character base level. Makes sense that players who invested a good amount of time and effort to be rewarded with more interactive powers

How about making it rank dependent?
In general there should be no limit how much money/items you can recieve.

About GIVING on the other hand:
Low ranks should get severe restrictions to make it harder for botters. Low-rank players won’t need that much money or equip-trading in the first place, so restricting low-level trading wouldn’t be that bad. High-rank trading on the other hand should be without restrictions since barely any bots (if any) get to high ranks.
Some rough ideas how that could work:
Rank 1 can can not give items/silver at all
Rank 2 can give items/silver in 1 trade per day with a maximum of 1000 silver/day and 1 item/day
Rank 3 can give items/silver in 2 trades per day with a maximum of 5000 silver/day and 2 items/day
Rank 4 can give items/silver in 4 trades per day with a maximum of 20000 silver/day and no item limit
Rank 5 can give items/silver in 8 trades per day with no silver limit/no item limit
Rank 6~7 has no trade restrictions at all (no amount of trades-limit, no silver/item amount limit).
This means all alchemists (which is a rank 6 class) would be able to do as much trading as they want.

Quantity limit for trades is terrible. There’s one type of restriction that I agree: minimum level, point of game (quest) or raking for trading. It’ll increase the work for gold-sellers, but for normal players, it’s ok, because in the beginning the need of trading is really low. Maybe lvl 100 is a good minimum.
The other problem is Bot. We need a efficient way to counter bots.

We highly appreciate your inputs and insights regarding the servers for Tree of Savior. We will forward this suggestion to our proper department for further review. Thanks!
