Think the game would be better if they just removed trading from the game, and made only class specific items drop locally for people.
just bumping this because the staff somehow misses all these kind of posts, they must lost their glasses during the weekend party.
R.I.P tos you was a good game killed my stupid decisions.
Bump, where is IMC. There are so many of these threads now, why arenât they coming with a statement?
Agree with pretty much everything but Potential, which I think is a fine system on its own. Incentivizes farming your own gear without just making everything player-bound. They could improve party loot options though.
Players need to fight hard for trade because I am noticing it is turning into a trend. BDO has no trading, B&S has no trading, and now ToS has no trading.
This needs to stop. All 3 games are still plagued by bots, it doesnât stop them, it doesnât protect the economy and all it does is force people into having to use a rigged AH and not interact with each other.
I am a forced soloist of MMOâs. I like to explore, read all the dialog and discover things about a game without ppl & google telling me all the answers. This means I HAVE to solo so I donât slow others down and donât get told all the games secrets by the impatient teammate who played in KR. That said, I deeply enjoy helping out others when I can through questing, tips, and giving away items. Its what I do. Its how I met many people in game. Yes some were moochers, but it only takes a bit of common sense to spot them from the earnest newbie not trying to mooch off you.
I support this notion.
BnS has trading
unless you are pointing to something more spesific within the game.
I agree with your points, the game should reward people for grouping together but should also not hinder people from enjoying it solo if they want. I hope IMC hears our wishes and makes trading free for all in ToS
B&S at earlier levels allows trading. But by the time you reach level 20 and you are farming weapons, armor and outfits, those are all unable to trade.
Pots and other consumables drop easily so that no one is ever really in need of sharing any of those items with anyone. The only thing I have ever seen that is of real use that people trade are the wheel essence. The only time people ever communicate in that game is when we are looking to do a WB. Or rare occasions when the bots are under control, casual chat in faction. (I will admit B&S has been working on the bots)
I guess the lack of interaction and rare opportunities to trade in B&S made it feel like trade was completely gone. lol But at lest you got what I was getting at. xD
People can still help you get alot of the things you want in BnS, like outfits and such because they have a looting system. I get what you are saying tho. I play bns and we all cooperate with each other for making crafting items and other things and a lot of those are tradable items. But enough of that, to not go off topic.
But i also think ToS could benefit from a better looting system, maybe more loot settings or rolling system. Since the system they have for looting is also working against us, since it feels totally random atm who ends up getting any of the loot that drops on the floor. I feel it would lessen the issue (just alittle, doesnât take away from no trading being very bad) if the looting system also wasnât so horrible.
As I already mentioned I tend to solo so I didnât know how the looting system was in here (since I was never in a party xD) Perhaps that is a glitch? It doesnât really make any sense for it to randomly go to someone. Unless it goes to highest dmg/heal player in team?
Who knows, glitch or not i would still like a roll feature.
