TP Shop - Let us actually give you money, we need more items in the shop + Current cosmetics feedback

So a honest note, im someone who does not mind dropping a bit of cash on his current game. I work, can afford it.
The issue is that there is hardly anything that i actually CAN or would want to buy. The TP shop is a wasteland, and imho this has to have a bit of priority over other things (not bug fixing, god, not bug fixing), cause its the most direct way you as IMC are going to make money.

Cosmetics are lacking. Hard. If i recon correctly there is exactly 1 single costume /class/gender. Currently, if you are not into that, you cant buy any costumes at all.
Then there are the hair styles. Now here is the thing… i have nothing against the people of lgbt, but there are hardly any premium hair styles that would not make me look like a cross dressing girl.
I mean not that they look bad or anything, but… honestly. The anime design of the game in itself does not characterize genders, yet with the addition of those hairs, i literally cant tell the gender of my character. This might appeal to some, but most certainly wont make me want to buy anything since everything looks the same ambiguous gender.
Needs more diversity. Desperately.

So lets talk example items:

  • Stat/skill reset scrolls in a game where you can spend months on merely progressing and leveling your character HAS to have reset items available, regardless of what some children think or cry about p2w. Some said it would be too OP to have the possibility of changing builds on a minute basis due to pvp/pve differences, in which regard i can give a bit of room and say that you can/should put reset items on a cooldown of at least 1 day.

  • Pets/companions, we need more pets. Do not make them appealing by giving them increased stats and/or op skills. Make them appealing by designing them to be visually appeasing. Here is a dragon. Dragons are awesome, you do not need to “animize” and/or twist them. Design creatures with the thought of them having their own grace, beauty and meaning. This rule goes for everything.
For an extra kick: Make them talk like in ragnarok online.

  • Fun class items. Now this is albeit a no brainer (every designer’s dream to create items which carry absolutely no meaning and impact on game economy, but people still buy them), its pretty hard to design since literally nobody is going to buy fireworks to virtually make their money go up in smoke. Fun items need to be either permanent (because nobody is going to mind a kickable/hittable ball) or if they are 1 use, they need to carry a lot of impact.
When it comes to this, old ragnarok online’s rogues and their scribble skill always comes in my mind:

  • Cosmetics: As stated above, this is a must. However, the items need to be diverse and numerous enough to justify the purchase. Having 1 awesome hair will not do, because if everyone likes that one item and buys it, it will lose all of its value in the blink of an eye as a cosmetic. It will no longer be something that catches the eye, it will be something that despite its good design/look is annoyingly common. (If everybody is a hipster, nobody is a hipster).
Furthermore i suggest you keep a close eye on which items are popular, and design future items accordingly to that specific style. This will make you avoid the issue of filling up the shop with useless/nobody cares items.
And for the love of god, stop with the ambiguous gender stuff… why would anyone buy something that is literally so devoid of all and any characteristics, that it even questions your gender?

  • Boost items: No brainer. Not going to discuss this since boosters have been around since the dawn of online games.

  • Visual effects: This is pretty much a branch of cosmetics, but its always cool to be able to add some sort of permanent visual aura/light effect to your character and/or skills.

  • Mini games: Knock yourself out on this one.

From the top of my head these are the things and examples i can come up with.
Should anyone suggest more/better ideas, i would be happy to add them to the original post.
Oh and one more thing:

Remove the restrictions from 1 on 1 trading

Having a cap on auction house? Maybe.
Having a cap on dungeons? Meh
Capping 1 on 1 trading because you cannot handle gold sellers? **** No. Just No. Nope. Not gonna happen. This is like a straight admission that you are so powerless that you would rather wreck and punish your actual players, than solve the issue through effort.
If i get a loot that my friend or bro can use, i god damn want to have the ability to give it to him/her. If i have to fiddle with daily caps on my trade… look… just no. Amongst all of the caps you have in place, this one is the one that irritates me the most.
Battle gold sellers a different way. A way that wont wreck the experience for us, your actual players and customers.

Someone give this man a cookie please.
You are so GOD DAMN RIGHT.
Strongly agreed bro.

Blade & Soul has a new costume on their shop every week or two. I see people wearing them. Cosmetics are a huge thing in the western market.
