A quarter of casters is broken because pyromancer is uterly broken, the game crashes often on loading still but its not the biggest problem nor ever was. This patch fixed some minor inconviniences, Freezing or stunning or sleeping mobs were the least of anyone worries. Having them removed wasnt that much of an improvement, it was simple really to avoid their aoe sleep effects or avoid pulling too manny mobs that had a chance to freeze you and/or focusing them down first so that doesnt happen. That added strategy to the gameplay. On the important front , the gameplay mechanics, the game has suffered quite a bit im afraid and is not better after the changes.
