ToS Card Game RNG

I think it’s really interesting that a card game is being implemented in ToS. It’s definitely going to be one of my favorite things. Anyways, I’m just curious if you think that the card game should remain rng based or would you rather have some kind of skill implemented? I feel as if some skill would make the card game feature much more interesting.

i wouldnt mind seeing something closer to Magic, Hearthstone and so on, something alittle more competetive and skill based, im not a big Card Game fan typically but still, it would be intresting to see something like it in ToS, would give people a reason to collect all cards and perfect their decks, something to strive towards besides just leveling.

You read my mind. I love this idea. Since there is a lot of grinding in this game, I feel like it would be a really good activity to do on the side.

Haha so true! I would love to just challenge other people in a skillful way rather than rng. I would enjoy just collecting them all in general haha (

I really wanted to try the cardgame, but since Ill play as a sorcerer I dont want to risk losing potential minions or upgrades (the loser loses its card).
I think the losing the card should be a option not a rule, also It would be nice it it was possible to name 2 stars+ cards, so i could shout: I SUMMON BOB THE CHAPARITION!!!

I agree on having a skill component implemented, MMOs benefit from having numerous little ways to enjoy your time in the game.

Something like GWENT still quite rng, but that small skill involved.

Agreed. Even if it has some little skill involved, I think it would make it much better than being completely rng DX. I guess we’ll see if they decide to keep the rng model or tweak it a bit ;P.

They should do something like magic, but with skill increases or the card as it levels, also they could make championship events. But I still want to name the my minions.
