Its not a throwaway account they just buy the account for the character loaded with cash and use that account as their own. So no token required, im pretty sure you misunderstood what is happening.
Whats the difference between people spamming account selling or silver selling?
Answer = nothing but the words used
Install KTOS check for your self.
Great evidence you got there

Hope they’ll not do like ncsoft did with blade&soul, just care about money money money, alot of promises died in ***** cause of their greedy, blade and soul already loses atleast 50% of his start popolation due to this ! Hope nexon will do like maple story, it’s a great work there.
You’re saying they have to scrap their old accounts and start over from scratch on new characters, without their levels and equipment and their names? And when the bought silver runs out, they have to scrap the whole account and start over from scratch again to get more?
You can’t see the difference between buying silver and scrapping your entire account to start over? Really? They have literally nothing in common, since 0% of the data is the same.
I agree, i played atchage on its prime but after 2 months of full grinding and after t3 armor set everything went crazy.
It still reduces the practice because the risk of buying is way higher than simply getting gold. It introduces a lot of incovenience for both side of exploiters:
-The seller can be a scammer.
-The account may be banned
-The account may be stolen back by the original owner.
-Buyers may get disencouraged because of the 3 reasons above
-Scammed buyers can make scandals/drama and get the seller banned/inconvenienced
And don’t forget, iTOS will use Steam.
Those issue are the same with buying silver/gold on games so thats not any different the risk is the same.
Its called a password change, if you leave it the same as you buy it then your a idiot and you deserve to lose the account.
… your making up issues that don’t exist. They don’t scrap their accounts they simply buy one off the start, and this practice has been most commonly used for templas. Its obvious why i don’t think i need to explain why templars. And if they ONLY wanted the silver from they account then can transfer is via AH easily. If they are buying accounts i doubt they will care about the % loss on the ah.
Steam accounts = Free
TOS accounts = Free
TOS on Steam = Non issue for sellers
I think what it comes down to… Is they should just asked the players. And read the metrics back in iCBT.
Irony

Really? I never realized O.o
That’s my line. You’re bringing up a bunch of unrelated stuff instead of demonstrating silver selling.
Few characters are templars, so you’re admitting this practice isn’t widespread.
Then why are you talking about account sales to begin with? Wouldn’t they just transfer silver over the AH instead of messing around with new accounts if they could?
It’s called customer service. Go ask your fellow kToS players; a couple of them lost their accounts to the koreans whose identities were being stolen by the sellers.
I don’t need to demonstrate silver selling i have explained how there awful system doesn’t stop sellers it just changes the procedure.
They can, but as i have said people have been buying them for the characters as well.
Yea on KTOS, the reasons we are even discussing this topic is because me and others saying we don’t want the joke of a trade system on iTOS and that wouldn’t be a issue on iTOS as our registry is different then what nexon has in place.
You don’t need to? Really? Then we don’t need to believe anything you say. This confirms the system works and silver selling has been squashed.
aww man, no popcorn emoticon?
The system doesnt work and people are really buying accounts loaded with silver in KToS. Everyday I log on I see some lvl 150+ with some “gfdsfabvg” name. thebloodyaugust is right.
Having it happen doesn’t mean jackshit.
The volume is what really matters. And this makes the accounts worth less,it’s a cut in their profits
Even if they do that imc is still making some money back from it.And the accounts are easier targets to banning
You’ll never stop people from doing illegal things, but it’s a world of difference on making it harder to do.
What you guys want means an even easier time for the cheaters.
