Dudes, let’s be honest.
ToS is a aesthetics-centered game. Both mechanics and dynamics get developed on a least effort basis. This is clear to anyone who have played the game for some thousands of hours. Your design and QA also have muuuch room for improvement.
That said, aesthetics is top notch. My ears and eyes orgasm every time I play. Your art and music teams are extremely talented ppl. But the problem is - apart from initial impressions, aesthetics don’t exactly convert to money outside of TP cosmetics and costumes as the game progresses.
As such, why don’t you do some manhwa or mini-series of anime with some JP guys? I know your JP server is doing pretty well, so why not? Aesthetics-centered games were always popular in the East.
You have a wonderful setting, you have enough good tracks for a full season and you have enough classes to just introduce them again, again and again with literally every episode, pleasing both ToS fans and MMO-anime fans. You also have some story ppl may actually start to care about if presentation was different.
Just as Ragnarok anime and manhwa initially got ppl into the game, ToS anime/manhwa may do the same for you and actually convert into them sweet dollar signs.
Just consider it, ok? That may actually give you some funds to finally have an in-house QA. Rofl.
