I’m an archer myself …and I don’t do botting and I’m fine with the beta’s exp rate. not sure bout you but I do barrage/high anchoring/multi shot quite alot icbt (dont have oblique shot since I dont go to circle 2). and leather mastery helps alot with dodging mobs attack

If you’re not actually botting, you don’t have to be defensive about acting like a bot.

Besides, that above is a bot, a mechanical one. There’s little difference between a macro and some weight pressing the key.

Lol, whoever said “no to archers” is really stupid. Archers are one of the best classes to secure blue spawns easily lmao.

I don’t think anybody said Archers were trash in the early game, only that they were very powerful in higher levels (maybe as soon as you reach the 100’s) especially in terms of PvP.
Even in the early levels, Archers have better solo-ing potential than Wizards and Int Clerics. Swordsmen and Str Clerics simply outdo them in terms of longevity, and people are looking at properly balancing the problem classes (Barbarian, Paladin, and Monk). The only real complaint I’ve heard about Archers being underpowered would be about the long CD skills of some of its classes.

The game has a flaw and the archer players simply use that flaw for their advantage. I won’t call that “cheating” or OP, but “smart play”.

Earlier in the thread people said they were trash but i played archer for the beta and i found 1-10 was a little slow (when u have next to no ranks) but after that i was able to hold my own / beat other classes so i have no idea what there bitching about. Also lvl 1-10 does not take much time even if your slower then the other classes during that period.

Personal anecdote: The database is not completely accurate, on the last day I made a Highlander and reached lv 27 before I logoff, but checking the armory it only list the character as lv 7 swordsman.
The group also mentioned this in their reveal of the armory, but it’s based on people they found while sitting around the warp statue in Klaipeda.
Meaning if a player return to town, quickly go sell/repair and immediately warp to another zone, there’s a decent chance the group won’t be able to inspect that person in time and thus doesn’t have him/her in the database.
Also, it’s 5 Quarrel C2, some could’ve gone quarrel->hunter or quarrel->sapper.
I know I stopped at lvl24 - because the beta ended. You also have to keep in mind it’s a defensive type of class, not offensive. You can’t expect them to level on par with other offensive classes, unless working together with one.

I made to lv74 in Sapper rank, and man, that was hard work. While some mages/clerigs made by lv90-100 we Archers spend most of the time, trying not to die.
Kneeling shot is there for a reason, if IMC thinks thats a bot they will take it off. So stop the mimimi, please. You guys are really embarrasing urselves.
