One thing for sure is that the market price for gems 6+ and above are going to drop. Perhaps it’s a good thing especially to those who wants to strengthen their eq’s especially for rank 8 content and beyond. Not all are dedicated players that have time to spend on their gear, tis what you called “filthy casual”, even me. Everyone’s got their chance on this event I suppose.

Yes using time info from other players, in-game clock and collecting as soon as the time changes. Harvesting itself takes 2 seconds so you are safe if you started it within 2 seconds.

what is there to complain about the event? what’s the problem with other people progressing? what an a-hole you have to be to complain that "other people are getting gem abrasives"
nobody cares about your gem business, its a 1 month event and in a few weeks gems will go back to being expensive as normal. Let people enjoy the loot dammit
