Can we please stop hurting each other? And ourself for that matter. Not only is the trade restrictions hurting us, but the 50% tax is also hurting us. We already have enough of a penalty for going a crafting class. And the team restrictions means we can’t really use the class to its full potential

Our pots are already selling for retarded amounts. People are offering gem roasting at prices so low they LOSE silver because they forget the 50% tax.

If all alchemists followed this simple formula we could all earn money and don’t have to reroll.

Materials price x 1.55 (50% tax 5 % for own profit) + 100 silver

If Alchemists don’t care thats fine, I am simply trying to inform some people that I think are misinformed as to how the crafting economy works.

That is going to be a problem no matter what sadly, unless the tax for crafting classes in general isn’t changed.

And even then there’s always those trying to have the cheapest prices just so they get the most customers, not thinking that it’s also hurting them in the long run.

But maybe this will make some crafter’s think before they push their prices too low.

wont work. Because 50% tax of 1.55 is 0.775 so your return on invesment is only 77.5%of material cost + 50 Silver. To get even you HAVE to DOUBLE your prices.

That is also the reason why 30% tax for f2p players compared to 10% tax for token users is bad: f2p player have to up the price by 50% to get profit while token users only need to up price by 11-12% which makes f2p players unable to compete on market.

There are simple no gem roasting shops (at least on EU) yet, at least i never found any.
