Tired of Lancer, Help me to build a Dragoon3! @.@

Hello, I’m about to reset my Catalancer and build a Dragoon3 (I need a character slot for one little falcon :), and I’ve found this build to be really weak… well… crush/quintain are incredible, but the aoe dmg don’t exist in anyway).

I saw that the most popullar build are this two bellow:

Sw2-Hop3-Doppel-Dragoon3

and

Sw-Peltasta-Hop3-Dopp-Dragoon3

Questions:

1- Why sw2 is more desirable than pelt1

2- Just 5lvl of buckling really matter that much?

3- About doppel… considering no kind of greed or high need of money (and thinking that a farm build naturally is more popullar, bot maybe not the stronger)… don’t would be more effective to make:

sw2-pelt2-hop3-dragoon3

,

sw-pelt3-hop3-dragoon3

or even

sw3–hop3-dragoon3-shinobi

Pelt 2 builds are the best Doppel builds are outdated/farming builds.

Barb C1 gives cleave for dragon soar.

I recoment 1hspear+ shield build with pelt c2 so you can go rete on r 10 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Guardian works with 2h spears too and you can switch in any shield to use swash:

These builds are impossible at rank9 since you have 10 ranks in them.

so; rank 10 skills are out already in the preview so is safe to assume that is very near already so creating a character and not planning with this in mind is stupid and this should be the reason of why he made rank 10 builds!;

Yes it does, lvl 10 is obviously even better, but not a must. Pelta 2 will also provide guardian 10.
Doppel as a farmer is questionable, double drops for 5 monsters every 57 seconds is meh when you bursting 20+ monsters with swash + Fall.

I knew that doppel was ununsefull. That damn rank of builds is a trap!

I will go with Pelt2! Sword3 don’t seem really good for me, just meh buffs and one good skill that could be substituted by gazings.
