Tips on spotting bots?

It’s just been a few days since the report bot function and i kinda wanna know some usual things bots have to spot them easier, these are probably the most common that i know.

  • Dumbo names like asdhajsd, jaskdakj and denekdn. Although sometimes some bots i would find have decent names which make it harder because i have to follow them and try to talk to them, and see if they will respond.

  • Won’t stop running around like an idiot.

  • Steals your mobs like ice cream.

  • Auto-attacks on air, hits mobs even when it’s not in front of them BLACK MAGIC!

  • Clerics/Priests that uses swords and uses the blessing skill a lot like crazy.

  • Dumb equipments, some bots i found actually have meme daggers and I’m like, damn that’s a waste of dank memes.

  • Ignores you like your senpai does, i mean c’mon I just wanna say hi and ask about your day.

  • Has the Teleport skill, I know im lag but i know when something’s fishy, especially when you’re not a Psychokino.

  • and the very obvious

  • W W W . SEAGAMESCASHYOURDUMBIFUFALLFORTHISGOLDSPAMTRICK . C O M $2.99 FOR 1 SILVER.

  • Has the hunter achievement -added by mishirohidenori

I usually just follow them around for minutes and try to talk to them to make sure.
Anymore stuff you guys know that can help me and other players spot bots?

For me, it also help the fact that they attack and hit my ice walls from half the room distance :expressionless:
:

You’ll generally see the other bots pathing in the same directions on top of each other like they have a hive mind!

Hive mind people = bots!

Was on my way out when I saw this and decided to make a video…

at the end I was trying to turn off the video with 1 hand cause the other one was full xD (I changed the key for recording cause F12 got pressed a lot by mistake in the past beta :expressionless: )

I am cleric/priest that uses sword for slash dmg plz don’t report me :worried:

I encountered a bot in that same spot too when i did my missions there like wtf

They also only have the “Hunter” achievement.

Oh yea i didn’t thought about that!!!

Some priest bots use maces and shields. It’s not every one. Some people attack at air due to lag. Some people ignore you because they don’t speak your language or are anti-social. Some people kill steal because they just don’t care. Priests use Arde Dagger because it’s really helpful when leveling since you mostly just have auto attacks.

A lot of your list is filled with assumptions. But you can mostly tell a bot by its movements.

check the adventure points. Some of the bots in the high level areas do not have random letter names. You’ll find level 100+ characters with 3k adventure points. They also teleport, vanish and reappear on screen

  1. They attack through a jumpable wall.
But failed to hit, because they don’t enable melee AOE exploit.
Caught/Stuck one yesterday at infrorocktors lizardmen.

  2. When you channel jump, they jump with you (before your pet appears).

  3. When they KS your anvil.

Multi box can also mean multi eyes…

Yea, pretty much why i follow them around for minutes to make sure

People that have Sword Art Online related names.

omygosh HAHAHAHH I’m dead

One method to check for a bot:

Look at their character info, achievement points. Botters don’t do much quests, hence their achievement points are low. We can use that to match to our own achievements when we get to the map area itself. If it is very low means it is a botter.

(Unless of course there is a hero who grinded all the way from lvl1 without doing any quest lol)

they always aggro for pyro’s fireball. instead of mobs. i can make this trick forever.

Many of them don’t equip rings / bracelet

Cleric/Priest train XD
