Tip for You All: How to improve your game experience PVE Content

Hi,
I will put here a Tip that can change your game experience.

Tree of Savior is on a downfall because IMC decisions and game management, but you got to admit, the graphics and gameplay are awesome, or you would not come here again to suffer.

Even if you are an old player, this Tips can serve you as well.

Tip 1 : Disable Show UI The important one. Give this a TRY!

Tree of Savior is really beaultiful when come to graphics. And you can feel amazing when you pay atention.

The problem is: There is too much information on the screen that steal your atention to the beault.

Basic every player know the Skills of the main character without the need to look at the KeySlots or countdown, even if it uses combos.

Disable UI would be perfect if it had show 3 things:
1 - MiniMap.
2 - Little bar Bar of HP below the character.
3 - Quest Information.

Since it is not how it should be, and will not be this way NEVER, so you can do this:

Do the following steps:

Step 1 - Open Key board setting and alter the Key to “Show UI” to a button that is very close to you, maybe a button of one skill that is useless.
I first put it on on 0 (zero) of the NumPad (right side of the keyboard), but later I saw it was better to put on CAPSLOCK. It will not affect the screen if you are writting.

Since I play using Keyboard Mode I put it CAPSLOCK key, since it is very close to the arows of moving.

If you use this button as I used, to do an important skill, like Double Punch, since was the skill I most used, you may want to reconsider where you can put it, for example, change the skill to the “End” button. Depend on your keyboard layout.

Step 2 - Also important, complement the Step 1:
Roll the scroll button of your mouse (middle-button) and get a close up to your character (not valid to archers ).

Done. Now you will be toggling this mode and TA-da!, you realised how much you missed paying atention only to numbers.

For real, you will notice more the details when you do that.

Give it a try, try keep yourself in Disabled Show UI mode.
You will enjoy this doing quests and awesome scenarios that you dont noticed:

Tip Number 2 [optional]:

Disable Music

Tree of Savior Has one of best sOUNDTRACK in MMORPG, that will mark you, as for example:

or

But sometimes you can feel a little sick of some musics, specially when you stay long times on a map. Or you just want put an emotional uplifting epic music.

Disable it and be happy. Specialy if you feel inside the like some known character like Berserk.

If your computer is very sad on power of processing, you can download it using AtubeCatcher, just make sure to not get some Virus and AdWare, be aware of that.

Even game music of other games fit better some moments, than the music of the ToS,
Like an Saalus Mission / Epic Field Boss/World Boss Killing for example:

Tip number 3:

Disable Auto-Setup

This will change so much your graphic options, that will cause more lag than help.

For real, this keep changing your options in the background, causing lag more than helping.
Run away from it.

But I recomend keep Optimization (Beta) checked.

shortcut to step 1 is Alt+A

I was thinking this was gonna be about engaging the PVE like an actual MMO, i’ve found some old maps that are way more productive with the new drop rates we’ve got, for example.

That is the problem.

There is no way you will be doing this on your normal quests.
Its very uncomfortable do that multiple times, repeatedly.
But if you put this on a Button that is easy to do it, like a button of a Skill, or CAPSLOCK, you start to vitiate on this mode, specialy doing QUESTS, because the scenarios are amazing without all the numbers and UI windows in front of it.

That is why I put those steps.

@leleconildo nah,
This is about game experience, not computing numbers to get more results of amount of something.

Nah, i mean it in the sense that everyone complains that there’s no content to do,that’s a different kind but still affects experience. Because they feel there’s no merit in doing lower maps they simply ignore 90% of the content.

Most people don’t ignore.
But TOS has barely any contents. TOS is about farming, that’s all. You spend your time just farming, then do some lame boring PvP, and then you have boring dungeons. And at the end it’s all about Tree Of Fashion.
Farming isn’t bad, but when it’s only about that it’s just boring.

My life in tos in a nutshell.
Broken pvp + farm, for better yet broken pvp.

Farmville = Tree of savior.
If you are playing this game for interesting stuff, just stop.
