I think TOS is more cpu processor dependent than gpu. I did off some in game graphic settings like bloom and background effects. I think it is also because I am solo-ing inside dungeon and there are no other players. I do experience drop in fps when the map is crowded, like in town channel 1, boss hunt, and tbl etc.
Off topic, I was wondering how u get those 98k achievement journal points
maybe i’m wrong but you look kinda … Salty .-.
Complete all quests (except important wraps), explore 100% for all possible maps, talk to all npc, get all rc and craft all items, complete collection, kill all monster and bosses once, find oracle to kill new mob with change, and lastly the most expensive one - upgrading items to +10.
lol @ how jealous jchsc is
Well, even if we don’t consider Tia’s gears, Split arrow lv5 only net like 800damage more damage. (1.6k on bounce)
Let’s do simple math.
Split arrow lv5 has 300 additional damage compare to lv1.
Consider it always crit, so that’s 450 extra damage.
Consider most people add split arrow up to 80% attribute as their end goal, that’s 810 extra damage, and 1620 when bounced.
So whether you think this 800~1600 damage is worth double sp cost is entirely up to you, but don’t just laugh and dismiss people’s opinion when it’s not yours. Stop telling people anything that’s not your build is wrong or something.
I believe Tia has equally as much experience as you and she consider saving sp more than 800~1600 damage, that’s all.
I’m not trying to forcefully ask people to accept my point of view like you did there, and just leaving pure data for people to decide whether investing split arrow to lv5 is worth it or not, so don’t take it too personally like you always do here.
multiplied by attributes, and physical attack.
Personally i prefer lvl 5 split arrow. Tried both.
tia is very strong, but i don’t think she tried lvl 5.
Did you read my calculation?
Attribute is included already.
And what do you mean by physical attack affecting additional damage applied by the skill? It’s flat damage, not percentage.
Also, I believe most people tried lv5 split arrows already and some regretted it and use reset potion and make it lv1. I’m one of them.
i guess its a matter of preference, when i play a character i want it to have as much dps as possible, even on farming char i want it to have as much dps as i can get.
If your purpose of Scout 3 is only for farming 145, I do agree that lv5 split arrow could be much more worthwhile if you have the appropriate card set up.
But since I treat it as my main, I do use split arrow as means to farm 100~200k hp mobs for exp. I often run out of SP even using lv1 split arrow, and I don’t enjoy chucking sp pot on cool down. I save SP pots for when I’m in a party since I know people don’t have time to wait for me regenerating sp with bonefire + battle bird. (Takes around 10 sec to reach full sp btw)
Seriously, this game need to let us toggle the skill level at will so there will be no debate about this
We should be able to choose the high skill costly one when we need to, while we can choose the cheap sp option when we want to save some sp .
stacking so much dex probably puts you over the crit cap? I thought the archer class could go over the crit cap but maybe that is only when they are buffed by other class buffs?
since you main a scout I was wondering about your mana issues or lack thereof for the endgame content.
no one gives a ■■■■ about your cards and bow, stop spamming it in every thread your in for the hell of it
A little bit off topic, but it’s begging to be asked - how is that possible?
The bulk of the work needed to craft the 315 orange bow is farming the 60x Yellow Caro Antenna. You’re nowhere on the top server kills for Yellow Caros, not to mention given how few have been killed it’s possible not one has dropped for anybody yet.

Yup, like DieHardLancer said. It is really, really, all down to a matter of preference. Lv5 split arrow will surly increase the damage of the bounced arrow by quite a considerable amount. As I mentioned earlier, split arrow scale better with patk (like from the weapon damage, skill damage, patk hats etc).
I decide to go for Lv1 split arrow because I prefer to be sp efficient during farming by using split arrow twice (17sp x 2 = 36sp), rather than using Lv5 split arrow once (37sp). Also, the bounced split arrow sometimes bug or won’t detect the mob beside it. Having a Lv1 split arrow allows me to use another split arrow without being penalize too much when this bug happens. Lastly, to me, it seems inefficient if I have to spend sp pots, weapon maintenance or buffs to allow me to farm 145 dungeon. These are kind of daily expenses and will reduce the overall silvers you can obtain from the dungeon. Though it is small, I believe it will all add up and reduce your silvers farmed per week (or per month).
Both have its own trade-off. For me, I prefer to be sp efficiency for 145 dungeon farming. Hence, I chose to go Lv1 split arrow.
Yes. I think I will be over crit cap with buffs. The crit formula is as follows:
Crit % = ( crit rate – mob crit resist ) x 42 / your level
This formula shows that even when vs same mob crit resist, 1 additional character level will require much more crit rate in order to maintain the same crit %.
As of 280, I can crit often without swift step. But currently at level 324, I am finding harder to crit without swift step. Another reason is during my gameplay, I feel my clearing (or farming) speed slows down if I don’t get the bounced arrow to crit. This is why I went high dex.
Nothing was edited. You said you were 80% to creating a 315 orange bow which is you excuse as to why you haven’t poured as much $ as @Tiaaa has into her bow. All the while you’ve only farmed 8/18 of the low quantity mat, and 0/54 of the rarer, high quantity mat.
That’s GREAT that you’re #1 on morning bird kills. I just wouldn’t go around lying and saying you already have 80% of your mats farmed. And then throwing a tantrum when you get called out on bullshit.
@Tiaaa Getting on topic, how come you landed on ranger1 for r7? And how has it been so far, any pros/cons compared to other options?
I went into rank 7 when 280 is the max level. I have to choose between ranger1, falconer1, sr1, or musk1.
Musk1: I am really not a believer of having two main weapons. This makes it much more expensive to upgrade (no transcend yet as of 280). Despite the sheer number of people saying scout c3 should go musk or cannon, I guess I just follow what I believe in. Bow specialization.
SR1: It is a good choice for farming as split arrow can be using while mounted. But it has no synergy with scout, and a waste of sr skills. As this is also my main build, I wont want it to be 100% purely for farming.
Falconer1: Circling into Multi shot is really good. There is some start up time for circling into any combo. From how I see, if I am with a team, it might be possible the mobs are already all dead before I can finish the combo (the start up time for circling and also charging time for multi shot). I also find the pet system at that time (when max level is 280) to be really buggy or unreliable. Hence, with all these reasons, I didn’t choose falconer. However, now with Mergen class, Homing Arrow and Arrow Sprinkle also benefit from circling. Falconer1 can be a good consideration.
Ranger1: This was my crazy bet when max level is 280. If Mergen isn’t release, I am planning to go rogue1
I am glad it worked out. I have always think that steady aim will scale very well and continue to be relevant in late game because of the % scaling it gives. I still really like my build. What I am doing now is to have vubbe fighter gauntlets and 2x gladiator bands, isn’t much, but it allows me to hit 2 mobs with homing arrow/ multishot without the circling start up time. Even if I have the option to class reset or reroll, I will still choose ranger1. Steady aim also benefit Mergen skills for burst damage. I will be making a video about crystal mine solo maybe in 2-3days after the current event dies down.
Actually the Falconer’s skills are even more buggy as before lolz…
But at least Circling is the least buggy one and can be worked around.
Also getting ranger is NOT bad if you already have another falconer in your party, especially if it’s C3 falconer. :P. Now you do 10%+ damage than other mergen when they use circling for you.
