Throw gu pot dismount the companion and won't allow to use Schwarser Reiter's skills

Date and Time(Please, specify the timezone) : 12:53 and everytime I use that skill on my mount.

Server Name: Klaipedia

Team Name:Mitzi

Character Name: Primrose

Bug Description : I use Wugushi’s skill “Throw gu pot”;
Because of “Throw gu pot”, my companion got dismounted for about 2 seconds, and just then I can mount it back.

You won’t be able to control your companion for 2 seconds is a big problem, because it needs to me near of you to you mount it again.

If the companion runs into Boss’s directions, you’re obrigate to go melee mode to take it back.

At missions, that means you certanly gonna die.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Use Throw gu pot, that will dismount your Schwarzer Reiter;
  2. Start to run after your companion;
  3. Take tons of damage in missions;
  4. Then you dies trying to chase your pet. Plus: It will not back to beginning of map with you.

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) :Mouse, but I tried at Keyboard mode, the same error happens.

Btw, this is an intended feature. It’s on wiki and client files that Throw gu pot can’t be used while riding a companion.

I think she knows about it Lunnar, the problem here is the 2sec delay to get back mounted.

@LunarRabbit: Thank for share this info. I think Its ok about be at the floor to use that and re-mount at my companion, the problem is when it go away and I can’t ride it again. T_T

If there was some way of my companion remain still to avoid jeopardizing the mechanics it would be perfect.

@VnZzz: It’s really annoying run after my companion. :c

i know how u fell… i have a cata3 and when somehow i lose my pet its a pain to get it back (changing maps and getting it killed while loading screen or after i die and it goes wild trying to die too).

I understand you pretty much. It is even worse when you die and the companion bugs out. But I did saw a guildie using Gu Pot without having that 2 seconds delay, remounting was instant. I didn’t notice it your post because of this.

Might not be related but I noticed your companion had 0 stamina and you don’t have companion food on skill bar. Did you try doing the same step-by-step thing with it on full stamina?

Companions gives some stats (HP, Evasion and Defense) when they’re on full stamina. I guess it worth trying and if the problem still persist message me back and I’ll try to talk with the person I know who is a Wugushi->SR. If we manage to find what causes the problem maybe we can provide more details for IMC in the hope they fix it until… until… a “renewal/rebirth” patch? lol
