This reminds me how RO died

bots/server issues > people make private servers > private servers do a better job > players play on private servers > official server dead

RO never died on Brazil, even now. ‘-’

I am actually very looking forward to playing on a private server, without having to be restricted by:

  • lack of trade for everyone
  • limitations of trade, such as inability to trade silver or a restriction of 30 trades per month (this includes items shared through Team Storage!)
  • faulty market system
  • not being able to queue to dungeons in a party
  • killing social aspects of the game by giving too many bonuses for queueing
  • limited dungeon entries

I would gladly pay 20-30$ per month to a private server that will do things better than IMC does.

What really kill lot of MMO is World of Warcraft whit is players who love buy gold creating the gold seller boom that is now everywhere. I play iRO for a long time starting at is beta, there was botting to at that time but it was not for gold farming was mostly people to lazy for the grinding. Has years go you will still not see a gold seller in town and botting population was on some easy map and same map. Then WoW happen and everything start to fall, gold seller was making ton of money. West create the gold seller and now we complain about it but we are those who give them the power to live. In East try to find gold seller, they are pretty mush none because over there players think different.
