for a pvp build i recommend hp+mdef headgear, obviously hp+mdef+pdef is the best, but you can imagine that this is very expensive.
just magic defense can be good too if you can’t afford hp+mdef i myself don’t struggle much against physical defense because initiate provides me with block, and i got evasion too.
a virtov plate set with yellow gems in it and blue gems on boots obviously lolopanther is better but also very expensive and/or takes a very long time and dedication to get, i don’t recommend casual players to open an ET char for this purpose, as ET chars requires lots of work into them unless you open a support.
get a cata pike or cripple at 220 if you can afford that, red gems in your weapon no matter what is your stat build and again red gems on the weapon regardless of what weapon it is or what your stats are
this is because red gems are the only gems that adds physical attack, both yellow and green gems add critical attack and critical rate, both aren’t reliable against good pvp builds with high con
this red gems on the weapon is the best
also, since we are swordies and not archers/mages, i don’t recommend getting red gems on your top/pants and yellow on boots, we don’t really need this hp more than we need defense, and magic defense can also be stacked for the purpose of getting nuaele cards. So this is why in my opinion getting yellow on top/pants and blue on the boots is a good choice.
If you have everything and get to the point that you focus on cards, ellaganos or nuaeles are the best for pvp atm in my opinion.
it’s a matter of preference when it comes to cards, some people would prefer nuaeles some ellaganos, on a lancer build i’d do nuaeles and stack some magic defense, but ellaganos can be good too if you need that extra accuracy/evasion.

well red gems provides great damage overall, so i would stick with that
maybe change headgear to physical attack though.
personally i have a WB dedicated char i wouldn’t WB with a lancer unless you can do it with your guild
yeah i have an active guild hunting some WB, thnx so much, can you print yout invested stat points? i’m full DEX with 35 invested in CON
i would invest more into con, minimum of 100 con for pvp
my stats are 120 con rest dex.

Actually Con-Dex 1k evasion -_- still rolling to 330, need more HP in pvp about 100 con invest to prevent from getting one-shotted. btw Tanzen do u use mouse mode or not ?
mouse mode is not recommended for swordsmen at all, i highly discourage you from using mouse mode on a swordsman
keyboard and controller for swordsman are the best can’t imagine myself being able to do what i do on my lancer and dragoon on a mouse
I mean with our corsair build for hook. Since I saw some guys on vid use it 
i still don’t see mouse mode being better, but tanzen might have a different experience
its all a matter preference tbh, might as well try for yourself and see what’s best. Some people really enjoy mouse mode (mostly archers) so you might like it more than i do
yeah I think its hard for me to adjust all of hotkeys,still Lancer doesnt shine much at C1 due to lack of damage filler skill 
I know that Stabbing is general considered a terrible pvp build because no one is going to stand there and take all the hits.
But I was wondering if you iron hook first then use Stabbing, then Stabbing could become a viable low Rank true 14 hit skill.
Even though it has low skill bonus, the fact that it does 1400% damage over 3 seconds seems comparable to a rank 7 skill damage.
This could potential save high ranks open to avoid going into doppel.
Iron hook indirectly got better also with the buff to Steed charge as a gap closer. Also good with restrain without sacrificing your mobilize rush too early. There are times it’s good to not stun with rush. Because if your target moves, you move, helping you avoid focus of spells.
What do you guys think?
I am using keyboard, I tried using mouse mode before, aiming is definely better with it but it’s harder to use overall because there’s no “snap-on-target” feature like in RO.
Also, targeting a keyboard controlled cata on rush is a bitch.
