Also while at it, could something be done about ggrowling? it doesn’t work in pvp and it’s pointles in PvE in a party.

This game needs diminishing returns. Thats all.

Hmmm understand something, Hunter does crappy damage. saying a hunter musketeer deals a lot of damages is because he’s a musketeer. Hunter on it’s own doesn’t deal high damage, it’s all about damage over time (btw you want to nerf that damage as well because our damage is in coursing and retrieve).

Hunter is labeled as a support, doesn’t support all that well in parties, doesn’t damage bosses unless they’re flying. and its only useful thing you want to rob.

As I see it the only one crying right now it’s you.

Also if you’re saying “build your character better” then go build a cryo warlock and become inmune to hunters, cryo shield freezes us from afar and reflect damage to us and warlock’s ball make him immune to our skill since they kill the pet before they reach, also those balls can be targeted by the pet as it seems.

Stop this “nerf” bullshit, Hunters dont deserve a nerf. Just implement diminishing returns to prevent endless cc chain from the same skill (like Stone shot).

Yesterday I did 1v1 PvP with a hunter who had 20+ more levels than me. I won all the times. Why ? Because his pet didn’t listen to his orders so often.
Also… locked in the stun ? Except if you’re really unlucky, you most likely won’t. I’ve never been locked in the stun, and I’ve never died from a Hunter because I was stunned. You say “build your character better” but to me if you’re dying that easily and all the time to hunters you’re the one who needs to get a better build.

Hunters already lack a lot of strength/damages, they use 3 circles and the damages/possibilities are still quite limited and situational. There’s nothing to nerf/change here, it’s a class that can be countered with different builds, and it’s really not a difficult thing to do.

It’s kind of funny how you say “Hunters are OP” but the reason you die is because Musketeers can kill so fast.
It’s as if I’d ask Wizards to get their sure spell/quick cast nerf because the higher wizard classes are so strong.
Or like that dude that asks Scout’s Cloaking to be nerfed because a Scout can cloak then launch a big attack.

People should play the class they complain about before saying “nerf” because they can’t play their own character.

I’d like to add that since our main weapon is concidered a CC there’s immune monsters out there to us. early example is the whole of demon prison 2nd floor with the exception of harugal and later on at storage and its surrounding maps there’s more than a few that also deal the bane of my existance : magic damage.

If we go by that logic, let’s nerf sleep and all it’s 14 second glory that allow warlocks to kill you in a few steps.
oh let’s also nerf musketeers since they can one hit kill most archer, let’s also go for cannoner. while at it let’s preemptively nerf murmillo and inquisitor. let’s just all deal 1 damage and have 1 hp while at it let’s remove all sorts of ranged attacks. make it rock paper scissors for real then.

It’s fine to ask for a nerf but also understand the other class before just asking for it.

Which to you seems pretty unfair but it’s not all that different from being killed by a wizard. difference is: you stay alive to suffer a bit longer.

Sadly I think nothing would change. I have coursing at lvl 6 which last for 14 seconds, duration halved in pvp. But once that’s about to go I catch you with retrieve and I can just keep changing.

Nerfing one skill won’t change anything, Fixing the pet AI would and reworking the entire class would be a better solution, atleast that way I as a hunter would feel that they did something other than just mess us up, look the patch of a couple of weeks ago did only one thing to us: change the description of our skills. We’ve been forsaken and the only thing the community does is shun us due to our CC that lands once every century.

Just a hint to defeat a hunter : stay behind your shield aka your companion, anything that can be targeted will be the primary target of the hunter’s pet instead of whatever the hunter is actually targeting. just go play with this class and feel the real frustration.

And in a sidenote the Hunter majority prefer to use Retrive than Coursing, because Coursing is … seeriously make a Hunter and try to use it you will understand, and oh the skill has overheat, oh awesome a skill that if you miss you can use again and you know what? if you use this ■■■■ to times in a roll missing the first one make your Pet bug like losing his brain :DDDDDDDDDD

There’s a clear counter to our skill. it’s seems that you were ignorant to it. just kill the hunter’s companion once and it’ll bug INSTANTLY for the whole of that match, just don’t walk over it ( that a guaranteed skill hit).

Also if you walk the other way the companion will just chase you forever.

There are counters, they’re so obvious and infuriating to us hunters. if you stand still there’s like 80% the companion will just stare at you, and once you walk towards it bam skill sucessfully landed after what? 15 seconds?

I’m sorry to say this, but there are way more broken classes in pvp right now. Hunter is a decent target for a nerf but it will be only deserving once the AI gets enhanced.
