Even if it is easy to set up the server, what about all the different laws for each of the nations as well as how you would deal with taxation?
This can’t be purely an IT issue.

What f problem you have with them purchasin a server for EU? Looks like it bothers you or something lol Is not your problem so why you even care.
Also, for example me, and tons like me, didn’t purchase the game til we had an anuncement about the EU servers.

problem is you guys cant keep these EU needs a server topics to one freaking thread!! you have to make new threads every single day about it KEEP IT TO ONE THREAD!!!
I’m sorry if I gave off some sort of vibe that seems like it bothers me. In all honesty I’m all for an EU server since it’s more accommodating to players in the EU.
But all my posts are just my thoughts and explanations on why it hasn’t happened yet and why it’ll probably happen in the future.
On this thread specifically, my main point was to state that the reason for why IMC has not made an EU server does not seem to consist of the difficulty it takes to actually create one.
Also:
How do you know it’s tons? If it is indeed tons and IMC could get that data, it would influence their decisions more, but that’s data they don’t have.
Hopefully that’ll clear my posts up for you.

I don’t think FatePGN (or anyone for that matter) has a problem with there being EU/Asian servers. He’s restating a lot of the potential motivations which might be preventing IMC from setting one up which have come up at least a couple thousand times in the past month.

Well if you can get a team to handle EU server for IMC for free, I’m sure they’ll do it.
Stop bitching. The EU is in the minority. Of course they won’t waste time right now to setup a new server. Deal with it until later on in the games life.
There are many processes. Hosting there is just one of the many. The biggest of the bottleneck is from business and planning.
Side track a bit - The community manager did asked the players where do they prefer the EU server to be at. Which is really nice.
