This game is Sexist

I have seen them, yes. It was more of a joke. :smirk:

Sexist indeed. Why are there so few choices of clothing for men.

Im not sure what thats like, but im pretty sure nothing can top a male Draenei.

Ever heard of ā€œpink taxā€?

If you’re female: You should be used to paying more for the same item.
If you’re a neckbeard that wants to play a cute loli: Your fault

I think, among many things, the fact that this game is not gender-locked kind of dismisses the whole sexism thing. I can’t say much about RL, it might be more sexist there in some cases, but here in TOS you can choose between male and female, and that’s coupled with not even being forced to pay for cosmetics.

I would think, also, and correct me if I’m wrong, that purchasing TP would cover both costs of male and female cosmetics anyway, despite the pay gap.

You’re right. I guess they will have to increase the price for male hairstyles.

I dont even care about hairstyles though. Im fine with what i have.

This type of thinking may be why its lower. Personally, as a guy, I dont care what my hair is like in game as long as it doesnt look bad… Costumes is different. So they lower the prices to make buying different hairstyles more attractive.

If i played a girl id want her to look cute, so id be more tempted to get different hairstyles.

IDK though. just a thought.

Oh it’s those people again…
Red pill plzzz

I mean it’s ridiculous female hair costs more then male but why aren’t we complaining about the fact these hairs literally cost as much as RL hairstyle trip?

Don’t do that :disappointed:

The topic was a joke, we need some comic relief in here to distract from the horrible things happening in game atm :weary:

And that’s too small!

AT LEAST F CUP OR NO CUP!

I demand proof! :muscle:

We are not complaining (at least I am not complaining) because it is a purely cosmetic item. It doesn’t matter if you can afford it or not.

Some hairstyles only cost 15 TP, but those that are willing to pay an outrageous amount for the Premium hair will have the privilege of being one of the few with a rare hairstyle.

I would honestly like to see a few hairstyles priced at 500 TP and 1000 TP - because anyone who is willing to pay that much kind of deserves to have a unique (or almost unique) look.

let me correct you right now, in all seriousness as I have treated this thread with a bit of humor myself, that having the option to choose either male or female in-game doesn’t dismiss the game completely as non-sexist.

this issue is also complex, and I’d love to have a discussion if you find it necessary, but this may not be the venue for it, nevertheless, I hope you understand sexism isn’t just about gender designation or elimination of the infamous pink tax. it’s much deeper than that.

BEcome a Peltasta, and see male undies!

Well my argument here is that the game isn’t cosmetic driven, there’s obvious advantages cashers get compared to a free player so why are hairstyles so ridiculous? Actually… why is some hair more expensive then actual costumes, that’s a real good question now.

I dunno, just food for thought… and the only hair styles that costed that much are the starting ones aren’t they?

I will fully respect your right to identify as an attack helicopter, Apache, but you can not take away my right to life.

I will support your protest to get copter blades into the Cash Shop, but only if you are not going to use them for violence. :helicopter: :rainbow: :v:

if IMC charges your blades 59 TP more than just a premium hairstyle, would you be ok with it?

also, where are the said male pany shots?

This is exactly what it comes down to

The life of an attack helicopter is a difficult one (as I’ve only been one for a few years) but I am working on becoming better at function WITH society…not against it.

Thank you for being understanding and also to the staff member who took the time to delete my other post instead answering pretty much any question that has been asked in this topic/other topics.
