Yeah well you enjoy your private sever, on the REAL servers, you have to use basic attacks because you donât have the mana regen or manapool to use grimmtooth all day. Unless youâre rich and can afford blue pots.

Private servers were also real servers. Youâre being really awkward if you think you needed to buy blue pots while levelling a sin/sinx. Where did you even level, clock tower like a newbie doobie?

RO definitely has more action and is much more fast-paced. Hopefully, things get better in the endgame in ToS.

Iâd love to join up and teach you a bit about renewal vs pre-renewal, but I canât be bothered.You already made it very clear, however, you are stuck in pre-renewal and know nothing about what came after. I am assuming you actually know something about pre-renewal, but I wouldnât be surprised if I was wrong there.
Iâm not gonna argue about renewal other then this. I believe it was a step in the wrong direction and they should of improved on what they had instead of pushing for balance breaking content. Not that there wasnât balance breaking content before, it just wasnât attainable for the 99.9% of the population.

I killed plenty of Valks with my guild. Frankly, there wasnât an mvp we didnât kill. But hey, at least pre renewal it was a challenge. From what I read classes could solo mvps post-renewal so if you like that sort of experience, well then there you go. I donât enjoy the easy road.
And broken content pre renewal I ment stuff like mjollnirs and what not, I donât think there was as much broken pre renewal as there was past renewal, but thatâs my personal uneducated opinion as I never played past renewal.
Iâve gotten a bit sidetracked with the discussion. Since it is adding nothing to the topic I will retract my previous posts.
Let me try and give you a little perspective on why this all sparked up.
OP, who for all we know couldâve started playing RO this year and doesnât know anything pre-renewal, posted asking about similarities between ToS and RO.
Someone with experience on both the latest RO patch and ToS posted their opinion on both games.
In comes you, with experience in neither, and try to invalidate his opinion.
I hope you see what I am trying to get at here.
