Things That Are Weird in ToS

This can be so misleading for the staff.

What about Wugushi? Monk?

I played both, nothing weird about them.

Here’s what I find weird

  • People finding it weird that there’s loading screens in a game where world is divided into maps.

Anyway, pretty sure someone already made this thread (similar anyway, for everyone to list things they think needs changing)

wugushi and monk almost has no place in the game. they are weird almost middle ground class.

this is 2016, even the most hardcore of games that has 60gb of data doesn’t need to load when you enter a place. thing is there should be a support for those who actually have a beastly pc and load all the map at the same time so that the load will be gone. if the divided maps is the problem then load all of them, why extremely graphical game can do it and this one cannot?

Well… not sure if it should be called “weird” or just plain “stupid”… but i’ll add: “people begging for likes”

did they? i mean what is it for anyway? people will give it voluntarily if you do good?

is this really a thing? if it is i will definitely add it XD

that is super true, that moment when we laid eyes on yoyo and hear it sounds most people absolutely hate it and they have a choice not to tame it.

taming is just so essential in the pet system, even more various color and shape of eggs in ragnarok that need to be incubated to hatch, it’s just so engaging. the pet system is a game of it’s own. guessing if it would like to eat when it’s half full, trying to understand the emote it makes i mean come on, we human also cannot communicate with our pets and basically communicate with emote sort of. ragnarok pet system was a pure gold that is well thought out.

its not uncommon to see someone AFK in town with message above their heads like: “Please like me”.

The point is… if people would actually read the tutorials of the game they would know that “liking” another player rise the chances of matching up with that player via the matchmaking tool when you apply for it so you really should liuke only good players that you enjoyed playing with.

Problem is that people probably don’t r4ead or don’t care so yu find a tons of player either AFK with phrases like “like me and i’ll love you forever” or “help reach 200 likes” in towns… or active players going around giving likes and then telling you “ehy… 1 like for 1 like like me!”

Then of coure we find treads on the forum saying that the matchmaking tool don’t match you up with the people you want

So given the like real purpose and the way people are using it… as i was saying i don’t know if to consider it weird or just plainly stupid.

just why… added by the way along with some changes. it turns out TempleSHooter AA still is a line type attack that does damage twice, but unlike Shadow Galler which divide the damage in two, it doubles it so yeah Temple Shooter the only semi viable Summon. the retarded AI that ALWAYS miss on it’s first attack is just crazy.

THAT is news for me lol, i didn’t know it was that way since i’ve only ever played Korean ToS.

Well… it’s explained kind in detail in the “socialization” tutorial… can be accessed by clicking the F10 - Help button

They need an option to “Dislike” a player to decrease chance of matchmaking with them again (matchmaking boss rushers, for example).

“Matching party” in that tutorial may refer to party finder (F6, right panel) when you are questing and grinding and not to dungeon matchmaking.

Does such thing even exist in the game? As far as i jknow the only matchmaking tool existing at this point in time are for dungeons and missions

Game was in development since 2011 (as far as we know, could’ve been started even earlier)

Who knows how old their stuff is. Can’t really judge it by 2016 standards, unless they openly go and say that they are using the latest and greatest technology for the game. Which I highly doubt they are.

All we can hope for is a major overhaul in the future that will update everything. A lot of games do that.

Monk is a versatile class, that’s why you feel like it doesn’t belong anywhere. It doesn’t shine at anything in particular, but it can fill almost any role. It’s a unique strength.

Wugushi is my favorite archer class and if they changed/removed it, whole archer tree would be meaningless to me. On a side note, they need to add more DoT classes like Wugushi in my opinion, it’s a playstyle that I enjoy.

As far as I’m concerned, they are unique classes that aren’t for everyone. It doesn’t mean they need to be changed.

PD is a DoT class, or at least he can utilize dots and other debuffs to inflict damage (again, with DoT)

Eh? Doesn’t he just spread the afflicted dots?

I think Wugushi is the only real dot class in the game.

Even though you can argue that multi hit spells placed on the ground can be considered a DoT, I personally don’t consider them to be a real DoT, or at least the style of DoT that I enjoy. One that you can apply and run while it ticks. (WoW Warlock style)

Incinerate is a DoT.

… but earthquake does, somehow.

I guess it is. A bit too conditioned for my taste and it’s only one skill. Opposed to Wugushi’s arsenal of DoTs.

Either way, that’s a cleric class. If Wugushi didn’t exist, I wouldn’t even touch the archer tree and PD doesn’t change that, obviously. :stuck_out_tongue:

not going to argue with you, i can see your way of thinking just from "[quote=“Skygrinder, post:96, topic:184791”]

i really hope the majority of the gaming community doesn’t think like you, those who don’t push developer to do their best for their games are those who creates copies of other game and i’m done with that session of the gaming world, it’s very annoying how dev got lazy and just ride on other games fame.

think what you like, i’m evil for not thinking “oh my god, they might not be the richest to use the latest and greatest technology” but the fact is we need to push that to happen, also Nexon is very big.
