They own the server

So i was just having adventure on my own and killing mobs on my way, trying to leveling…
But then there was this group camping in one place…
The warrior class in the group (i dont care what specific class)used a skill and every mobs start chasing it…
i was just walking killing stuffs as i was on my way to portal…
But then this group started to bash me “dont leech please, fxxxing leecher… bla bla bla”
If they just asked nicely, and didnt act like they own the server i would have just continue my journey
But since they acted like they own the place, they own the server asking everyone other their party to leave while luring all the mobs into their own group… I decided to stay…
And when i stayed… all sorts of shits came out…

I’m just curious whats the difference between this kind of people and those who put weight on the Z button? They still stay there, and the worst is they bash you for looking for a mob to attack… Problem is they lure every monster for their own and when u try to take one… All hell break loose…
I would prefer if i see a bot there… at leash it only takes what’s coming to it… not like taking everything and bash people for taking one thing…

You may say " You can just go away"… Yea, I can but since they wanna be douche so i show them whats a real douche… It’s like they own this IMC and this game… but still im having fun trolling hahaha
Looking at how mad they are just made my day…

Tbh I’d stay around and kill the mobs that they’re luring into one spot with AoE magic since I need them levels… :joy:

Seems like alot of bad crops this cbt. last cbt, each map spawn area were filled with two parties each, and we had no problems with it. No arguing or anything, the mobs re-spawned that fast too.

If they don’t like you ksing them they could also just go away.

But then they decided to call u names… and its like their grandma own IMC so i should give way to their grandma… ahhaha

I know right… it’s open wide world… not like dungeon where u enter first u get it…
u should see how mad they were calling me all sorts of names hahahahaha

I’m weird cuz the more you annoyed by me the happier i am…

Face, what face. They just haven’t met with Mt. Tai yet. (Xian Xia reference)

the more humans you put in a place, the more chance there is for that place to get rotten…

this game need really active and in your face GMs…

The problem is that we have so many more people all competing for the same mobs this CBT. Something needs to be done to reduce this competition. Whether it be removing fixed spawn points so parties need to actually roam instead of staking out a good mob spawn point, increasing the number of good grind spots (either through maps, channels, mob density), or making each individual mob harder and give more EXP so that 1 party can not simply gather up 20+ mobs and AoE 1-shot them.

it’d be nice if they had more difficult mobs so you didn’t need to just grab all of them at once.

This is what I find pretty ironic, if you know how the spawn system work in this game.

There is a default spawn rate for mobs that are extremely slow, but there are 2 additional factor that can speed up the spawn rate.

  1. Spawn is base on the number of mobs in the whole map. Haven’t you notice that if you are the only one in the server camping at a single spot, the respawn rate is ridiculously slow? But once you run around the map to AoE all the mobs and come back to the original camping spot, all the mob at respawned?
  2. Spawn rate also increase base on the number of players in a single locations. If there are two party in a single spawn location, the spawn rate doubles, allowing there to be enough mobs to supply both party and more.

In cbt1, when there are 2 party camping in a single locations, it had enough mobs for 2.5 parties. But the other reason was also because every other spawn locations were filled up as well.

i think there should be some common courtesy to be expected,
if you are one of those guys who waits for the aggroed mobs of other players to congregate on one spot before attacking them you are clearly a leecher/ griefer.

if a linker links his mobs or a peltasta uses swashbuckling and you wait until they are linked/ grouped up you should be reportable for griefing, you didn’t try to kill the mobs around them faster, you didn’t “compete” for those mobs when you used their work, cooldowns or sp to take advantage for your self.

if you attack the mobs that you can reach first or if they are still on their way to the one who aggroed, then we can talk about competing for mobs.

trying to snipe last hits after someone clearly worked on an enemy before you should be reportable/ bannable as well if there is intent to be seen. ( i know some archer skills hit random mobs, i try to be considerate when using those so i don’t last hit those or i leave the area to find my own targets)
