There shoudnt be a "wrong way" in Class-Builds

They want hidden mechanics so the community can figure them out. Remember we are in beta, and when full release comes out we’ll have figured out tons of secret stuff.

Exploration is definitely part of the game.

One secret mechanic is that sadhus can buff up their out of body attack by having them walk over a buff/debuff cell. It nealry doubles their attack. None of that is said anywhere in the game but the community figured it out.

The game rewards knowledgeable players and makes stupid ones feel even stupider.

The game rewards players who try weird things, more like.

I guess “curious” players is more correct. I’m more of the opinion that I don’t see any good to come from hiding mechanics like that, especially in the case of betas, as we don’t know for sure if these things are bugs or intended features.

Yeah, the bug thing is true. Half the time I don’t know if I’m figuring out a secret or if it’s a bug. Secrets tend to have unique animations added to them though. Life for the sadhu’s out of body, a little star appears over your ghost’s head when you walk through a buff/debuff cell.

I can’t see why this Sadhu thing may be a intended design, cause it breaks most of the class-tree skills to a much different path… Like using a strange debuff to make your spiritbody OP, instead of using the acutal buff meant for this.

This kind of “easter egg” design for the major mechanics of the game just value people that follows tutorials when they play, like just open everything on google before actual putting their hands on it. (Im sorry, but thats most of you rag players). I really hope those are actually just buffs, and they focus on the real user experience.

I have to agree on this one. Classes need logical path for us to choose from. In the case of highlander > hoplite, it makes no sense (for me at least) because going from 2h to 1h/shield is counter-intuitive.

And yes we need accelerated EXP with reset NPC/method for testing builds.

it’s intended, and doesn’t break any class tree since it works with the basic cure tile (cleric 1) on top of other builds.

Tutorial is the wrong wording for what you describe, in fact the game is centered around having variations of builds.

For sadhu and int dps class you can easily go the basic route for cleric 3 sadhu 3 or you can put some in krivis instead of cleric for spells since you are already going int.

The game is all about finding synergy between class skills not staight up min/maxing. You can still find viable class combos without min/maxing and have fun.

Well, IMC told us that when they made the change on bows (in their patch notes). But I guess there is no info about it ingame…

I see no point in getting Cleric Circle 2 after DM nerf. Unfortunately I went Circle 2 before I learned it got nerfed. At least it’s Beta.

It is good if you plan to play Sadhu. Fade helps a lot.
