There is any updated Guide for Dragoon?

So as title says there is any?

edit: pick peltasta2 instead of doppel, after the new updates it’s better, the guide is updated to the 30th of April so it doesn’t include it

Guardian

  • Removed physical attack reducing penalty.
  • Will now increase both physical and magic defense, with values fixed at 100%.
  • Buff can no longer be shared via Spiritual Chain.
  • Duration changed from 60 sec + (skill level * 5 sec) to 17 sec + (skill level * 3 sec).
  • Cooldown increased from 40 sec to 50 sec.

High Guard

  • Removed critical chance reducing penalty.
  • Removed physical attack reducing penalty.

Swash Buckling: Provoque Specialty

  • Adjusted UI text to reflect correct learning requirements.

Guardian: Reduce Damage

  • New attribute.
  • Requires Guardian Lv 6 to learn.
  • Reduces the damage received while the Guardian buff is active by -20%.
  • Increases the SP consumption of Guardian by +30%.
  • Max. attribute level 1.

Its different but not inherently better. I tried both and I can say confidently that giving up 13% DPS from DoV for High Guard/100% uptime on Guardian and better Swash is a debatable trade at best. In PvP situations Pelt2 isn’t going to save you from Lancers, Clerics, or Wizards and its a detriment in HG. Might be nice in Velcoffer Nest though.

Also not sure why this guide is suggesting lv5 Spear Throw and Gae Bulg over more points in pierce/dragon tooth respecitvely. Spear Throw becomes essentially useless by the time you hit dragoon and should be kept at 1 for a utility bind skill. Gae Bulg’s set up is obnoxious and burns 5 skill points that could add further damage to Dragon Tooth.

I use the same builds with different stat allocation. Give or take mordschlag I just have it for a bit of fun and PvP utility. Cyclone will drop off late game so its not a big deal to take level 4.
