this is one of the complaints of the Korean version and was never answered and the server there is very empty and I also think this buffs system sucks.

APM is too slow.
But seriously, my APM is slow too, it’s why Im not a Starcraft pro. Actually would like this too.
Just one for starters. It has the worst animation delay ever too.
if that is your example of a buff that needs an increased timer, you are smoking the wrong kind.
I do believe there some buffs that might(that a very stretched might) fit the profile, but considering how many empty global seconds you get, having to rebuff is doing what it was intended to so “drain ur mana”.
You spend roughly about 4 seconds pulling out a cross and yelling MONSTRANCE! Then have to proceed doing it over and over again every 16-20 seconds for like 10-20 Dex…what in the world do you smoke? Imagine doing that over a 4-12 hour gaming session.
Listen, if you think this is something reasonable for mana cost then how about you stream this game and cast Monstrance every 20 seconds for 8 hours then I’ll take you seriously. Let alone the spell is just pure garbage incarnate for even debuffing reliably because the circle placement is 100% random.
Until then you can make a forum post claiming about game design to cost mana which is just absurd beyond means of comprehension. How about this: They make it a toggled aura to drain SP because that’s what they use in this game not mana sirmaddam.
DEX = (DEX * 1.3) + 10. So it really depends on your base dex but I don’t think this particular buff needs to be lasting longer than it says. I could see it for some other buffs.
Of course different balancing needs to be done for PVP.
There is also a reason why Activision Blizzard is not revealing their subscriber count anymore.
Buffs are fine as they are, you shouldn’t be playing a support class if you can’t handle your buffs rotation.

Chronomancer joins group, buffs everyone, gets kicked
“Thanks for buff. No we need a xxxxx(different Support class) for farming group)!”
next one joins, buffs and gets kicked - rinse and repeat

Except they do, as required by law to their stockholders…and when they do that, it becomes information for the public.

this reminds me of the very first nexon game ever (1996 action)… hit up the major town hub, call for A.S.V. (armor sanctuary valor) the 3 buffs in game that mattered, run to arena buffed and try to dominate… if you were farming you needed a player in your group to ASV you nonstop. or you were one of the smarter players that had an ASV ready outside the farming map and asved teammates without being grouped.

Simple. You don’t want a party stacking on 1 hour buffs from multiple classes they won’t actually bring into an end-game dungeon.
Unless of course you want everyone to become like Paladins who got owned by Barrier scrolls.
