Conviction ; paladin c3 (max conviction?)
how to do it :
sadhu use OOB then take DS + Aus buffs, then paladin will debuff enemy with Conviction, the sadhu must have all properties attack,
then the buffed sadhu hit the debuffed enemy,
based on some alien calculation sadhu oob will deal 999999999 sustained dmg to the enemy.
and while you try all that the enemy constantly throws you out of OoB making it useless, so you will also need reflect shield with high attribute and/or fade to carve statues uninterrupted but statues attract enemies and fade make some mobs and bosses heal themselves…
TLDR: More trouble than worth if you ask me, might as well go for a class that does the same dmg with a single skill…
This cannot work, it’s better to build around another skill - this one has a few drawbacks that make it a not very good source for primary damage. It is highly effective when you have the safety to use OOB state and attack for a long period of time though ( i.e. boss missions ) OOB is however, pretty effective with other potential damage outputs too, like effigy&hexing ( a sadhu will not use much SP) - i would reccomend diev but its damage is quite gated with 2 turrets on longer cooldowns with situational damage output aswell because they are susceptible to movement.
This can conflict if you also pick-up dievdirbys, i believe with Divine Stigma -it still requires a monster used as a sacrificial entity to empower the Sadhu, Whereas currently the Blessing of Ausrine Statue allows you to grant this effect without such issues. The only drawbacks to consider though for the Dievdirbys 3 Circle is the longer downtime to use Ausrine ( to be honest i haven’t noticed it too much, but it is more apparent in situations where you fight mobs with CC)
It would be quite difficult, if we consider the requirements and limits of ranks, creating something with this focus would be not very strong if we employ both paladin and sadhu together in the same character. These classes also are available at the same time, i think it’s a better choice for someone in such a situation to build STR heavy, or something with offensive statistics - since OOB is magic scaling they do not compliment each other well… however it has the saving grace of the 30% physical defense reduction which would be very helpful for a physically optimized(smite) paladin.
Although it’s a theory, this doesn’t seem very practical to do since it requires quite a lot of set-up time which means it can be disrupted quite easily, plus the scenario described the person would need to wait for Rank 10 to even attempt such a task on their own, and with the current situation of power creep the character would be considered very weak in comparison.
I can say that, since the recent patch buff to Out of Body - it is effective at clearing away low-health pool monsters that would often be a nuisance when other abilities were on cooldown.
A Sadhu has some weaknesses, to make it seem effective it is best to try to cover these issues. I don’t think we can prevent knock-backs at all but we can negate other forms of negative CC through Dispellers & Pardoner/Oracle/PD Class, but then we must also consider the other aspects of cleric’s skill-kit to work hand in hand with our abilities.
