As the title says
Let us create our own theories on why they hate their own swordsman class so much.

*In cbt . Swordsman class is rumored op? So they nerfed in release.

*They want us to play as spoonfed wizards too?

*Hakyukim is a failed swordsman in ragnarok?

*Hakyukim is bullied by a swordsman irl?

*Hakyukim watched sword art online and decided. ■■■■ swordsman cant be that OP.protagonist is blocking/parrying magic absurd.

*This game is designed by a girl. Obviously girls love magic and sparkly stuff etc.not being myso here

*Imc has a bad reputation for making bad melee class esp swordsman. * great. Reminder for me not to play any imc mmorpg again

*They dont play the game they made. They only imagine balancing in their minds lol.

*Imc needs to please majority of their players to keep the game alive.

Good thing hakyu never stayed for ragnarok. melee would have been screwed and ragnarok will be more poop

no! we didn’t call swordy op in cbt, we called them trash… cause 99% were barbarians and acted like such KS left and right :unamused:

and as a lvl 100 swordsman right now I don’t know what the ■■■■ is people crying about

So why are we the only class that has a lot of huge penalties on low or almost not usefull buffs? Lol

Even in costumes lol

Bunny mage
Racoon archer
Maid cleric

Swordsman gtfo

They don’t hate swordsmen. It is just that swordsman is the most difficult class to balance in the arpg scene that is dominated by any sort of ranged class.

Give a bit too much power and you will have things like the washing-machine barb in D3 vanilla. Give too little and you have what we have now in ToS. There is a plethora of ideas on how to improve swordsman here :3

get to high level and come here again, i play swordsman since beta and it was always bad

right now i’m leveling a pure pve doppel cus thats probably the only thing u can do beside going full tank or cata pvp meta

EDIT:Fencers are getting pretty good with R8, if they manage to make rodelero skills work with fencer new instance ill realy consider making one

why do I feel like am going to get the same generic response no matter if am lvl 300 or 1000 :unamused:

funny cause am making a full doppel too and am going 2:1 dex:str :expressionless:

and still think people cry harder than they should…

sad but true =/
theres fencer, doppel, cata pvp meta and full tank, i dont see any other build. maybe sword3>rodelero3>something>lancer work as a pvp build too

Then why am I Sw2-Hop2-Cor3 and feel great?

Not that great in PvE due to no pelt, but PvP is so awesome I stopped levelling my other chars and concentrated on a swordsman.

get barb 1 or corsair 1 (if u are more pvp guy) dont take squire 1 o.O
