That is good to know, thanks!!
I am glad you did that, because who cares about credits, right?
My Girlfriend Build is the third most viewed build on the site HAHA
OP was updated with more builds!
My Oracle FS build is the most :DDD
Just added a new build called Reflect + Statue Monk:
This will most likely be my primarly build, unless CBT 3 adds more ranks, then it’s quite possible I may switch.
This is the most optimal build for me.
Rank 1:
Cleric, I picked heal obviously, maxed for most tiles.
Cure for debuff, but also for early level damage.
Deprotected zone to deal more damage to bosses.
Why not Safety Zone? It’ll be replaced by iron cloth and golden bell on monk later.
Rank 2:
Krivis, why? Cleric doesn’t have much appeal anymore besides Divine
Might, and Priest buffs are great… except you can buy all a priests
buffs from a Pardoner later. Krivis is the best choice here:
-
You can upgrade the amount of buffs everyone can have. This is HUGE! More buffs bb.
-
HP Regen buff, bring on the grind.
-
More crit? Crit for life.
Rank 3 + 4. Here is where the OP begins.
Why Dievdirbys:
-
We got all the utility we need from Krivis.
-
I just don’t like Bokor.
-
We skip Paladin because Krivis gives the HP regen, and Monk gives the
defensive abilities, and we don’t need Turn Undead, we can kill
everything anyway.
Skill choices:
-
It’s hard to have more than 1 statue up, so I just decided I’d need
the teleport statue (Carve Valkarine), the CD reduction statue (Carve
Laima), and depending on whether it’s grinding or a boss fight, I’d use
the owl statue for grinding, and Austarus Koks for silencing bosses,
which is beyond amazing. -
Carve, because it has 0 CD, welcome to the next level basic attack. And you get wood.
Rank 5. Get ready for max deeps and reflect, welcome to the monk level.
-
Ironcloth is bread and butter here. Since you can silence bosses now,
you can just sit around in ironcloth and win, especially with hp
regen+all those debuffs for defense and crit you now have. -
Double locks hit’s twice, has a low CD (even lower with the statue),
and can be used in conjunction with carve and other monk skills. -
Palm of the Goddess, to just break everythings defense, so everythings just weak.
Rank 6, more Monk goodness.
-
Golden Bell, its the OH ■■■■ button, 5 seconds of invincibility every
30 seconds (lowered by statue too!), you can somewhat cycle it with
iron cloth, we only really need 1 level. -
God Finger Flicking, mostly a PvP ranged skill really. CANT GET AWAY FROM A MONK. This can probably be changed.
-
1 inch punch, only need 1 level. Exhaust enemy SP? Whatcha gonna do now huh?
-
Sunray hands, because kamehameha. Great in parties. Solo? No problem! Gather them up, drop an owl statue, and have fun.
Do you have any idea whether OBE is Int-based or Str-based skill ?
hmm so i can save skill points for the same cirlce? lets say swordsman ( still have 5 points) can be use for rank 2 swordman, while as swordsman to peltesta, u cant change rank unless u use all your skill points @_@" is that it? well this is sad T^T
in my build i want to save skill points for the later rank =< if thats not posible well… ill make another build XD
Yes, that is how it appears to work. The main feature of this system is to save points for a skill in the next circle, so that you can max it as soon as you change.
Heads up: The Rank 5 and 6 (that’s 4 for each tree) classes had ALL their skills (c1, c2 and c3) added upon reaching rank 6, for testing purpose in CBT2. This won’t be the case in further testing.
For example, the Oracle class will most likely only be able to access the first 4 (or 5) skills that show up upon reaching Rank 6, and would have to wait until circle 2 (Rank 7) to learn Forecast for example, and circle 3 (Rank 8) for Death Sentence.
hmm does this mean that i can save points for later higher rank? cause right in the skill simulator dopplesoldner is the highest rank i can achieve as swordie
i was planing for swordsman>peltesta>barbarian>barbarian>barbarian>dopple
(peltesta= guardian skill (upping deff lowering attk but can be counter by concentration))
so… do i have to spent all my skill points to peltesa just to proceed to barbarian? (sorry for the repetitive question, just want to make sure XD haha)
Every skill point ist bound to a class. Cleric -> Priest then you won’t be able to spend the saved points for priest skills but only for cleric skills.
is this true? @_@" they are bound? oh my
so i guess my build is realy scrap then =/ oh well
Yeah,on youtube is a video of a guy who tried to save skill points for his next class and after the class change he had only one skill point for that class (as always) and all saved skill points were still in the prior class. The skill trees of classes are seperated from each other and the skill points are seperated aswell.
If you mean OBE’s basick attack (Ectoplasm Attack)…Now that you asked, I checked both TOSBase and TOSGame databases and it’s confusing me, because it says both ‘Physical’ (or Melee) and Magic in skills description.
But I found a CBT2 video that may help us. Look at this image taken at 2:13:

He invested almost all of his points in INT and nothing in STR. If you check his grind, you can see OBE’s basic attack dealing ~280 and Possession (magic-based skill) dealing 3x of it. Ectoplasm Attack may be INT-based. (TOSBase says so :P) … Basic attacks shouldn’t deal much damage.
If you have doubts about Astral Body Explosion: it’s INT-based. (I checked here)
I hope I answered your question. hahaha … But this really got me.
The Element is Melee not the attack type ;). So the skills deal non elemental magic damage.
Possession deals Holy Magic Damage.
Oh okay, my mistake, thanks for clarifying.
Crowd control Chrono-Linker
This build is not intended for solo, it’s an utility-support build. As you’ll see on the link, it’s also not “complete”, that is because I like to add some space for customization so that it fits different kinds of play styles.
The main focus of this build is to combo “Hangman’s Knot” with Crowd control skills, so that your party can charge up & blast away the monster’s defenses.
The build gets up to Rank 5 and leaves it open onward, afterwards you can furder specialize geting Chronomancer Rank 6, or choose a diferent path by going Necro or Alchemist.
Since the role of this build is not damage-dealing, you can focus on improving your defenses, stamina, sp consumption or other things that are not expected on magician builds.
Warning: This build depends on the theory that you can combo Joint Penalty + Hangman’s Knot + some AoE CC ability fast enough for it to be useful…
Rank 1 - Wizard
- Max out “Letargy” & “Sleep”: cos AoE CC is the main focus of this
build. - Pick points on “Energy Bolt” if you plan to play with a melee.
- Pick points on “Reflect Shield” if you plan to play with someone with
range.
Rank 2 - Cyomancer
- Max “Ice Wall” & “Ice Pike” cos AoE CC is the main focus of this build.
- “Ice Blast” should be OK for the rest of the points if you want to dish out damage with this skill build.
- “Ice Bolt” can give some utility too… your choise.
Rank 3 & 4 - Linker
- Joint Penalty & Hangman’s Knot 10: This is the main focus of the build.
- Spiritual Chain 5 & Physical Link 4 : Support skill
- Unbind 1: Utility… I guess?
- You can change the point distribution between JP, HK, SC & PL if you would prefer a more support focused build.
Rank 5 - Chronomancer
- “Stop” & “Slow” 5: cos AoE CC is the main focus of this build.
- “Quicken” 5: you should be able to propagate it to the party using Phisical Link + Spiritual Chain
Interesting build, I’ve been looking over builds that really shine with other players myself, and really like that one +1
Added to the OP!
Also changed build of the day!
I thought I read in a discription that Sadhu was a STR based class?
http://toswiki.treeofsaviorgame.com/class/sadhu
Says most of the skills are physical and Sadhu is basically STR based. But I guess that wiki might be unreliable?
