The war on RMT is like the war on Drugs

No seriously, you can’t prevent gold sellers in any way.
I have yet to see a game where you could not buy Gold from gold-sellers.

They are ruining their own game, to battle gold-sellers because gold-sellers would ruin the game otherwise?

What’s up with people being so scared of gold-sellers?
They won’t break the economy, there is nothing to break due to the restrictions …

Not being able to trade silver to prevent RMT ?
What the ■■■■, lets just remove auto-attacks to prevent botting.

IMC is trying really hard to scare everyone into thinking the one big enemy of this game is called gold-sellers while the real problem is their own greedy asses trying to milk the ■■■■ out of everyone.

The best part about this is that people actually believe it…
It’s beyond me …

Edit: I’m a paying player, I love this game and I will keep playing.
It’s just beyond me how they can limit their game so much while pretending that it’s to battle the evil entity of gold-sellers.

Same boat, ill keep playing but im not going to pay anymore until i start seeing changes i approve of.

lots of people seem to think they are trying to cash grab but i dont think they are being malicious or anything

its just they are tunneling way to hard on the bad guys, and pushing over the citizens if you get what i mean.

i think they need to pull back a little and see the bigger picture, besides taking out RMT.

I would like to pay 10-20$ every month. But I will wait for changes, I don’t want to pay if after a year, the servers will be closed because players will leave this game. Fighting against RMT you killing your own players, friendly fire!

Who knows, maybe you are right, maybe they are just so incompetent that they don’t realise what they are doing wrong and not looking at the bigger picture.

My guess is that they know exactly what they are doing though.

Cannot agree more…
As I mentioned in some previous post, the trade system is fine alone that it prohibits trade without token but the market commission should be lowered.

Yes, gold seller can ask the buyer to sell a cheap item for a high price but does imposing the 30% commission really stop them or lower the likelihood of gold seller?

No, I don’t think so. Gold sellers have all the time in the world to farm silver, and no matter what, they still earn profit=real life money for botting despite the 30% or 50% commission.

So, I think the 30% commission is BS and it’s a way for IMC to force players to buy tokens.

Gold Seller are peoples that playing the game exactly for farming in game money currency for real world money.
Which mean they don’t playing for hobby but for job.

1.If Gold Seller Grinding silver normally, no problem at all.
But coz of the low spawn rate in TOS they can affect the real player / casual player that want to grind / leveling. But still we can ignore this point 1.
2.Humans are Greedy especially talking about money. Gold seller will try to get as many silver they can, and for that they will use illegal programs such Bots, even in my country Gold Seller hack the server stealing gold from peoples accounts.

You can say IMC greedy or what.
But if i’ve to choose give money to someone that provide me something that i love VS someone that ruins something that i love, i definitely give the 1st one.

Gold sellers ARE a huge enemy to online games.

They take a giant dump on the game economy making it so that lazy players will simply buy currency to afford whatever they want, driving prices up and making it so that non-cheaters can’t afford squat.

They spam chat endlessly with randomly generated content and randomly generated names making communication near them impossible. Worse still if they can make a profit from paying for world chat items and clogging up everything. Individual blocking leads to a full block list within a week.

As mentioned before, they flood newbie areas with bots because their goal isn’t levelling, it’s the easy money. Which completely wipes their arse on new players who can’t find their own quest mobs.

They bloat the servers with their endlessly respawning garbage accounts bogging everything down for real players.

Their presence alone ends up requiring methods to limit their activity. Which means things like trade being locked, chat being limited, and in general the game experience being poked full of holes in the name of security. Sure, doo doo on the game company for locking everything up, but the reason they do it in the first place is because of those worthless scumbags who log in without any regard for the stability of the game or the enjoyment of the content so they can squeeze out another dollar into their bank account by taking advantage of the lazy and stupid who buy their services.

Of course the real issue is the people who make all this hardcore nonstop advertising profitable …

Honestly the last people I’d swat at is the people running the game. Any effort on their part to end the spam actually leads to less spammers buying cash shop items to spam world chat and paying for new accounts ( at least until the end of the month. Though I heard somewhere that the spammers have found a way to get new accounts for essentially free somehow. )
