The token price is perfectly acceptable

I think the price of the token is 100% acceptable, and I will tell you why.

When I play an MMO, a big component of how enjoyable I find the MMO is the community. A mature community can lead to many interesting game play experiences, especially in games that contain open mechanics and large-scale PvP/PvE.

Conversely, MMOs that have a bad community are also typically not fun. and that brings me to my point. Just look at these forums right now. It’s a cesspool of people whining and complaining about anything they can think of.

I’d rather not play with these people, or even have to see them in the same game world that I play in. They have very little to offer in terms of enriching my gameplay experience, but will do a lot to detract from the game. It’s hilarious how unworthy they are to be interacting with my characters (even when I farm them for PvP kills). Further, they have the tenacity to come here on this forum and flood us with topics about how “unfair” it all is or how this game is “dying.” Puh-lease.

Again: do I really want, or care, to play with these sort of folks? Nope. Not at all.

Keep the price high and keep the plebs out. It’s what Donald Trump would do.

Your sense of “good” and “bad” is twisted.
A good community will react if game developer is making bad decisions that will hurt the game.
A bad community will suck it up and pretend nothing is wrong.
People who stay indifferent to the problem are what makes a bad community.

So basically your reasoning is: people who don’t pay 18$ a month for something that’s free in any other MMORPG on the planet, are immature pleb?

People wouldn’t mind paying 18$ for a month if it was worth their money. But the fact that it costs more than any subscription-based game, and the fact that it only unlocks basic features of the game, is what makes people complain about it on the forums.
If you don’t see the problem here, you’re a part of the problem.

It’s funny because you complain about the “complainers” more than the people youre calling plebs. Obviously youre ignorant of the fact that the people who’ve supported this game from the first ICBT are getting fked over because the international is different from the korean version and we had high hopes for it. Yet theyre restricting the supportive players and the tokens arent doing anything to stop the gold spammers and sellers.

I have to be honest, I can’t truly tell if you’re trolling or not based on that last comment, but I was actually in somewhat agreement with you until right at the last few words there.

I have no problem paying for a game I enjoy, so premium features and what not don’t phase me. However, there is a market for this stuff we can look at to decide if the exact price point lines up with what other games offer both for their premium package, and how much it costs. This is a debate we can all have if everyone were mature enough to have it instead of just sky-is-falling drivel all day.

Then you mentioned Trump and your credibility just disappeared faster than a prom night virginity.

Normally I don’t waste my time responding to the inane comments plebs make, but I will entertain you this time. Here’s my answer: no one miss you if you left us to go play one of those games instead.

The item is 20 dollars. And its basically an optional “sub” fee to play the game. Its 5 dollars- 6 dollars more expensive then games like WOW or FFXIV.

If they dont go with the base price not very many people will offer to pay it. Theyd miss out on an entire market.

BUT OFCOARSE someone with no experience with that kind of things wouldnt have that opinion. And regardless of this community point you made. I still meet a ton of entitled jerks in the game that will KS

Additional note: the opinion of someone who is willing to pay doesnt define a majority. As well, calling people plebs doesnt validate you. If anyone is a pleb its someone who doesnt have that experience dealing with things like acceptable pricing, or marketing, even advertising.

Calling people plebs doesnt make you a better person, but its obvious you use it to segregate yourself from others to make yourself feel more “important”.

If you look at any of their cashshop prices, theyre determined very oddly. like megaphones, they want to fight gold sellers. But they offer then within range of Free TP. Causing disturbances. Among other things oddly priced.

Note: that missing out on an entire market = less funding, and a poor quality server.

And based on the way they release their server and the state of the game to save money. They kind of do need funding.

Could you just go find another game that costs like $100 to play so you can sit around with anyone else that would play that? The community really doesn’t need anyone like you in it. At all. Ever.

Additional Note: with the server quality being really poor. It seems rather dumb to invest in the game at this point. And your opinion doesnt support the game at all.

OP is right. Token price is perfectly acceptable.
They just need to make it untradable (prevents p2w) and allow trading/gstorage for everyone (possibly with limitations).
They could add some other bonuses like “weight increase” too.
