The Third Epitaph Quest

Where it happened : Namu Temple Ruins, The Third Epitaph

Bug Description :
The quest is supposed to make you get rid of the vines and kill monsters to be able to read the writings, but in my case the quest is not popping up. Instead I can already read what was written in the epitaph even if I hadn’t done the quest yet. I already did the first two epitaph quests, and the Another Tombstone quest is bugged so I skipped over it.

I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if it really is bugged, so any help is appreciated.

Bumping because this is still not fixed.
Have the same issue, cant complete the quest after examining the third epitaph.

EDIT: found a way to get it to work. Abandon the quest so it’s no longer marked. Take it again by examining the epitaph (you get the text bug), then switch to keyboard control and examine using space bar and it works.
