I mean, really.
And i’m not talking about “it was in RO so it must be added to that game”. It’s just in EVERY RPG.
This is in that kind of game spirit. It’s the essence, you need the archetype of guys with mainly 2 weapons, that deal insane damages whereas they are weak as a baby bunny.
It seems really incomplete without that. We have tons of classes, a lot of them have no charmisma, so you might think they can almost build up something to fit some holes sometimes.
But there is a huge hole that no one seems to care, where are the rogues?
Because no, i won’t play an archer for hundred levels to have a fake copycat with the name of “rogue”. Becase it’s not.
A true “rogue” can use a bow instead of his melee weapons if he has to. But definitely not the other way around, that’s an insult.
And there are so many things we can imagine to build this archetype, so many classes.
We already have the Corsair and this “rogue” who belong to that. That’s what we are.
I’m a rogue players since almost 2 decades in various RPG. It’s, for me, a shame that ToS just say “lol, nope.”
Anyway, i’m really sad.
I can forgive the moutain of bugs, lack of features, bad gameplay, non balanced classes and all…
But, no thief? Nah, it’s a shame.
To me, it’s almost as stupid as a game without one of the other “great” archetype.
No one would play an RPG without warriors or mages. That’d be silly right? Same for the rogues.
