The servers feel like having memory leak

Is it just me? It feels like after every maintenance the performance is a lot better but steadily gets worse until the next maintenance. Just like memory leak making apps slower as RAM runs out.

@IMC
Ever thought about restarting the server every day?

As long as it helps I think this would be appreciated.

Sometimes I feel I am having memory leaks while playing this game. So many position rollbacks that I start to wander if I was actually moving or if I’ve been drooling for half an hour and didn’t notice.

But Yeah, a daily reset could help if that was the case. To be honest I think it’s plain over population. There is little to no solutions that do not involve investing more money into server hardware allocation to accommodate the enormous player influx.

I see. leaking is bad.

I don’t like leaks. My house had leaks beforeand i had to get it fixed,

Thing is that it is not just the player amount.
On EU the delay is insane even at 5am, a time when almost no players are around (even Dullahan sometimes moves around for like an hour because no one is there to quest/kill him).
But after maintenance for like the first 3 days everything is fine no matter what time. Made me wonder.

yeh its not the player amount i agree… swear it just gets worse. i enjoy playing the game, server stuff is the only issue that us putting me off now…

I agree. I feel like it’s a memory leak too considering it still lags even if there are few players online. I was trying to farm materials to sell for silvers but the delay is too much despite me being the only one in the map.

Now, it’s guaranteed that the lag will go away after the maintenance tomorrow but I really hope they get rid of it once and for all.

The servers do have stability issues but that has almost become a feature for many eastern based MMORPG’s when they go F2P or launch as a F2P game. The hardware used to run these MMO’s usually operate in smaller quantities & are on older hardware to reduce upkeep cost. Still, they are more than capable or running a smooth experience but then comes the issues with the game itself. It does seem that a good portion of the game runs on the server side of things. To add on top of that, the game is not optimized AT ALL for modern computer hardware. My GPU acts like a game isn’t even running & my CPU, which is only utilizing one of four cores ( i5-6600K ), doesn’t even go past 60% lol. Game is just a complete mess overall.

Its possible that the map you are on is hosted on the same machine as a heavily crowded map.
