The server should not open F2P

Let us be clear in 15 days the server does not fix everything.

There are many mistakes in the game, imagine the game on the 29th of April?

The server can not with the players currently. We all know that is business, but also have to be aware that this product is not ready

If you really want to have a great game, you should consider postponing the F2P maybe one month, I do not know how many players there, but almost 60% of the players have bugs.

They have to be aware, and have dignity to postpone the game to F2P

Yea but the community had a majority vote for 1 month till release. So guess what the majority gets to reap the rewards of their poor decision and those of us who voted against get dragged into it.

Guess what IMC also decided to do? Push the release date up and keep the early access time in March.

If they knew they needed three months, they could have easily pushed the starting time of the early access to May and release in June. But they decided March and April.

Aren’t they launching into open beta? They still have leeway then, although you’re right in that large communities usually don’t care laughs.

It’s not that I disagree with a monthish period to smooth things out without having to manage players- in fact, that’s ideal for me- but they do need consistent revenue to work, dignity or not. I’d imagine the founders community doesn’t feel the need to spend more after all that bonus TP, with cash shop as it is.

no. where does everyone keep hearing this?
We’re in Release already, same as KR.

probably, everyone gets confused by the words “Early Access”, assuming the same meaning as the Steam Early Access games… instead, tell yourself “Exclusive Access” – anyone who didn’t pay simply has access delayed to the release product by 1 month. Open Beta was scrapped for the international server (this one) because Korea declared that the game was ready for launch.

IMC said “we’ll be ready to go in 3 months. we’ll do a staggered-entry beta during those 3 months.”
players howled and cried at the injustice of being made to wait for a finished product and demanded it immediately.

IMC said “are you really sure? look, here’s a poll. you tell us what you think we should do.”
players howled and cried at the injustice of being made to wait for a finished product and demanded it immediately.

IMC said “well ok then, here’s the new ‘1 month Exclusive Access’ plan, coming out in a couple of weeks.”
players howled and cried at the injustice of being made to wait for a finished product and demanded it immediately.

and then IMC released the game for everyone that bought the Exclusive Access packs. And it was a right bloody mess.
players howled and cried at the injustice of being delivered an unfinished product and demanded it be fixed immediately.

and IMC probably facepalmed and said to themselves “well what the hell did you -think- was going to happen?”

basically there’s just no way to win with some players.

Enchant scrolls. people are gobbling those down like fat kids with candy at halloween. Enchant scrolls are pretty much the extent of the “pay 2 win” setup in this game, but damn if people aren’t eager to throw money at it as fast as possible.

Even if it was a game “ready for launch” i would expect tons of patches, bugs, exploits, fixes, improvements and Add-Content.

All the games go through that process, they balance some things, they add things, they realize that there were missing things, I don’t know why people b*tch about it, this happens in all MOBA, MMORPG, RPG, TACTICS, FPS games all the time.

^this.
almost every online game has a start that’s the same as this one has had, but everyone just forgets about it, and pretends that their favorite game had a smooth and easy start.

Most games have the server issues the trade/dungeon/ etc things usually aren’t a part of it. I can forgive the server issues when the game is new, but not the poor design choices.

Well yeah, they have got some poor design choices tbh, but at least they are changing that (talking about 1:1 trade). It is also a fact that bots abuse of this and as they specified “it might be a bit high-handed by dev team” some friends of mine are happy that 1:1 trades are back (they played in cbt afaik).

The point is that every game has their pros and cons in release, some of them even after release are still a mess (I’m looking at you mabinogi) and people, including me, still played them. I think its a bit…sad (guess that’s the word im looking for) that people gave up too easy in this game and start giving “Not Recommended” in steam while i think the dev team is doing a good job listening and fixing bugs ASAP.

This game is good, and it has the potential to become way better.

are we done with this crap? It is us who decided to push the game to release 2 months early. How can you be this cruel to stop f2p players to join us?
what’s wrong with you?

Dear devs,

Can you make “Turn off other characters effect” works?

Thank you.

This is not cruel. This is for the survivability of the game. To sustain and to keep damage at minimal. Look it this way, you bring them in, with lack of servers, not enough grind spots, botters roaming everywhere (The botters are stronger than you). No one will be happy. Would you have a whole bunch of people rant about the same complain about the game, or have a game that’s more polished?

You wrong at one thing here. They fixed nlmost of the BUGS all the problems now ate stupid restrictions and servers capacity.sadly imc dont look to get it or wabt to fix this.

I didnt want this. But most if not all of the problems are the restrictions and servers capacity.

I guess none of you played Blade & Soul when it first came out.

Yea bro. It’s been a long time since I played an MMO. This is not how I’m expecting this. I was expecting bots, but this is horrible.

If IMC needed another closed beta they should have made one. This was a cash grab from the get go. They announced an open beta then deleted all information about it and came out with this early access which, bare in mind, initially had a $50 buy in with no alternatives. Of course it wasn’t going to fly. Three months is way too long and $50 being mandatory was silly.

Their poll was rigged. If you looked at the offers, it was clear that the one month option was going to win. No one was mad about waiting to play the game. They were mad that IMC wanted $50 to play out of nowhere and were restricting access for three whole months. If everyone got to play three months later then no one would have cared. But the fact that you could buy your way into a three month headstart was sick.

IMC is a company. They are capable of deciding how long their game needs to be finished. The initial F2P launch was in June. They pushed it to April. Like I said earlier, if they were that worried about it, they could have released in June and started the early access in May. Instead they rode out the hype they had created about the open beta, switched it to early access for release, charged people and pushed up the release date. That’s their call. To blame the playerbase for the game’s issues is really quite sad.

In my opinion, IMC should close the servers for 1~2 months and fix all bugs they can before open again for F2P.

IMC don’t have a huge team or the best programmers and they’re fighting against BOTs/Exploiters and BUGs. If they just close servers and prioritize fix bugs, the game will be playable and IMC can deal with bots easily.

What bugs?
Most if not all of the problems are servers capacity and restrictions.

So, not be able to trade is a bigger problem than someone who didn’t get stats points for 3 consecutives levels ? Or people who discovered how to get infinite gold in minutes ?
We have AI bugs that makes classes like sorc/hunter/necro much harder to play, we have people who lost money on AH with no reason. Its just look Bug Report topic and you’ll see tons of bugs.

IMC will hardly take the community cry about restrictions as first priority once players are losing stat points, silver, items.
